Between Ole Miss and Florida:

UF is the right HC, staff and NIL strategy away from a NC in any given year.

Ole Miss is a hard draw for all, even when well compensated. It is the Dan Mullen dilemma. Stay where 9-10 win seasons keep you employed for life or roll the dice on a chance at greatness... even if the fog and a shoe throw could put it in the toilet.

You can win the SEC and Natty at Florida

You can't at Ole Miss.

Very, very, very easy to see UF is the more high profile job. It is not even remotely close

I agree with you. At the very least he's going to use that to get a raise. Lebby looks solid as hell and doesn't have the baggage. So does Alex goelish

How many Natties OM Football have in the past 35 yrs? ZERO

FYI, the past is gone. It's a new era in college football. What happened 20, 30 years ago (or more) isn't relevant.

Will Penn State pay his buyout? Franklin would be owed more than $50 million.

That’s why I said mutual parting. PSU is ready to move on but doesn’t want to pay him.

Who has had more success the last 10-15 years? Since Meyer left, who is the best coach you’ve had? Mullen? You’ve had 4 since then and only one of them has been worth a shot. Your latest is so bad that we picked Shane Beamer over him and Beamer had never been a HC/DC/OC up until that point.

Everyone recruits in the state of Florida now and everyone can pay players. You lost all of your advantages.

Lol do it please, didn't we beat you last time we played despite you guys clearly having a better coaching staff? Why? Because Florida is a much better Football program without any question. We are not top tier now like we were, but no doubt we are way high than Ole Miss. Count SEC and CFB titles in the last 50 years and compare..not even remotly close.

James Franklin has been doing so little with so much for so long he can do nothing with anything and he's a jerk to boot. Please let him go to UF.

We’re 32-24 since hiring him.

Florida is 20-22 with Napier.

You tell me.

Name your last SEC title in CFB. Please.

lets compare your terrible program to ours

overall record
Florida-769-451-40
Ole Miss - 680-547-35

Clear advantage UF

National titles recogized
Florida- 1996, 2006, 2008
Ole Miss - 0

SEC titles
Florida- 8
Ole Miss- 6- 1963 the latest one lol..very, very, very sad

Players drafted
Ole Miss - 312
Florida- 380

We are very clearly the better program. Especially since AC became affordable(early 1980s).

Who won head to head?

Teams like UF with bad coaches, will still beat teams like SC AND OM with good ones.

Florida fans: It’s not 2008. The last time you were competitive was when George W Bush was president. Your facilities are arse. Your stadium is old and decaying. It’s questionable whether there is true organization your NIL infrastructure. Lane’s kids are all established in Oxford and Gainesville is like the state of Florida’s version of Starkville.

There is literally no aspect of Florida’s job, facilities, talent, NIL organization that would be appealing to any coach at any reputable P5. Maybe Lebby? Maybe?

There’s a reason you’re hiring coaches from schools like Colorado State and Louisiana Lafayette.
