yes it would.
You would have to give a lot of credit to the new coach if he somehow pulled that off.

The East sucks balls. Vandy winning should be the only shocker. UGA should be a clear favorite to win, but they probably will screw it up somehow.

Uhhh the west is not any better imo...they are all capable of winning the division..all seven teams. The parity is here and no one is dominant....mainly because everyone recruits their azzs off and develops talent.

None of us know a damn thing right now. It is just talk. No one could have guessed Auburn would lose 4 of 5 at the end.
No, it would not be a surprise.

If this depth chart is correct, that's a young Offense. But McElwain is a good offensive mind.

It would be the least surprising loss of the season.

Yep, a legit "young" offense, not like Butch's "young" team every year BS.

What will be the response from you mouth breathers if Mac has a better team in year 1 than Butch does in year 3? Will you hillbillies still blame Dooley?

I wouldn't be shocked, I would be pleasantly surprised.
Go Gators.

It's becoming clear that having anything that resembles a civil conversation is nearly impossible on this site, that's unfortunate.
At any rate, Florida has an elite defense, so as long as he can get something out of the offense you guys should be ok. As for us, it's put up or shut up time for Butch, as far as I'm concerned anyway. He was dealt a shite hand by Dooley (the OL problem rests squarely on him) but there is enough talent to be a decent team.

I think Florida and Tennessee both go 8-4, but Florida wins the head to head in a close game. I don't understand the hype for Tennessee at all, so I think that Tennessee fans will be disappointed with 8-4, even though that is reasonable growth. The injuries on the OL are really starting to pile up, trust me, when Florida lost so many players in 2013, the OL was down to playing walk ons because of injury. Tennessee needs to find a way to get rid of the injury bug, because that sucker can ruin a season. I think the game in the Swamp will be entertaining but I think Florida makes it 11 in a row

When you go entire recruiting cycles without signing an offensive lineman, you've basically committed coaching malpractice. That piece of shite poured gas on the fire for three years. Butch may not be a good coach, I've yet to see enough evidence one way or the other but worse case scenario the talent will be on par with the rest of the SEC for whoever succeeds him. That's way more than can be said about the last 3 coaches.

I think the floor for UT is 6-6 and the ceiling is 10-2, so I'll split that and say 8-4. I think that's where most UT fans sit. If we had a legit SEC OL, I wouldn't hesitate to pick us to win the division but this unit was bad and that's before two season-ending injuries. Unless there is a drastic improvement up front, UT will only be a decent team.
