i def. don't agree College of Charleston is nicer than Clemson's campus. lol

it does have a nice small courtyard area but most of it is typical urban campus.

Don't want him. Dabo is a perfect fit for a place like Clemson or Auburn.

I think you’d be in the minority. The way Dabo talks about Bama openly, and the fact it’s his alma matter, I wouldn’t count out the possibility of him being Sabans successor.

i have never heard Dabo talk about Bama outside of when Clemson plays Bama.

He's specifically said that unless his relationships with the AD and other school officials goes south, he can't see himself leaving Clemson. He also talks about 'blossom where you are' a lot. He's not a job shopper like a lot of coaches.

His sons def. don't want him to go to Alabama. lol They said Bama has enough titles.

He came down to Tuscaloosa in the middle of the freaking season last year to be with his teammates.

It's not a courtyard, Tillman. Lol. If you think that part of Charleston is urban you should get out a little.

Dabo has already been at Clemson for 16 years, and while the lure of home is strong, he's pretty much made Clemson his home now. It's all his kids have ever known.

I was born and raised in Anderson.. went to TL Hanna, and grew up at Hartman’s marina. It is a awesome area.. miss lake Hartwell. I know Dabo loves Bama though.. I really think it would be a 50/50 chance.

Um, going to a team reunion doesn't mean he's constantly talking about Alabama. lol He did play on that team and the title team was being honored. He would have gone to the reunion regardless of college.

I'm familiar with Charleston. I lived there two years.

The green part of COC that is shown in pictures is very small. I think this can be described as a courtyard: LINK The entire campus is very small.

I don't need lectures from a Clemson sidewalk fan. Go find somebody else to talk down to. If I don't have your Charleston fanboy opinion, I need to get out more. Ok then.

The biggest mistake AL could make is to hire a coach who was a former player. That was the biggest problem in past, mainly due to Booster influence.

I get what you’re saying but hopefully Pruitt has more backbone, and sense, than DuBose.

pssshh, that was a prerequisite for him even getting a call after saban leaves. We are not some poors who have to go after a coach who hasn't proven anything, or hire our neanderthal defensive line coach who has in fact proven that he is a terrible head coach already

Depends on how you define pressure. Whoever replaces Saban will make more money than 99.9% of the world even if he never wins a game. Coaches at lower levels may not face the same fan and media scrutiny, but they also don’t have golden parachutes if they fail to win enough. If I have bills to pay and mouths to feed and my salary is more in line with the average person, there’s a lot of pressure to win in that situation too.

But if I know I’m financially set for life (and Alabama’s next coach will be the moment the ink dries on his contract) I don’t give a shite what some fan, writer or commentator has to say. Yes, you obviously want to win, but getting ripped by fans and the media if you lose isn’t as bad as not knowing how you’re going to pay the mortgage if you’re fired.

Ok says somebody who lives in a podunk town in Georgia. You talk about getting out more but you live in West Georgia. lol I don't think you doing too much in West Georgia homey.

You are one of these guys that sees a slight in any comment about Charleston because you are a Charleston fanboy.

Here is a street view of COC's campus by Calhoun Street. Looks like a typical urban campus to me. LINK

I think it is a decent urban campus but I wouldn't say more beautiful than Clemson's campus. I don't see why you felt the need to insult me because I don't have your opinion.

Your spend all your free time talking about Clemson athletics even though you didn't attend CLemson but then you say I need to get out more. lol

I also never said Charleston was as urban as Manhattan or a larger city. You made that stupid inference. Compared to Clemson, COC has an urban campus. Downtown Charleston is an urban area.

The reason that I was in Charleston is I was in the MUSC pharmacy college before I dropped out. It is definitely a busy area.

You're weird and borderline illiterate.

I did attend Clemson, but that has nothing to do with fandom or talking sports.
I'm starting to believe everyone else that you're some crazy alter. There's no way you attended college, which is fine, but you need to stop pretending.
