ok....do you ever talk about sports. i'm not interested in doing tit for tat with you. nothing personal. good night.
i know i will never get to the point that i'm bragging about clemson football. i've seen clemson have losing seasons, mediocre seasons, and great seasons.
I think there are plenty of programs out there that could break through and win a title.
What will Bama homers say if Dabo doesn't take a job offer. lol
actually it would be hilarious if Dabo takes job at prestigious amazing Alabama and doesn't do well. I'l be saying, little old Clemson made Dabo a success. He couldn't win at Bama but he won at Clemson lol

Clemson has had relatively small signing classes the past few years:
2018: 17
2017: 14
2016: 22
Been saying it for a couple of years, that the small class size will eventually catch up with them. Additionally, these small classes have been DL, WR and QB heavy (eg: 2 QB's in the 14 player 2017 class, 5 DL in the 17 player 2018 class). Here are the QB's Clemson has on scholarship right now.
Kelly Bryant Sr. (4*)
Chase Brice So. (4*)
Hunter Johnson So. (5*)
Trevor Lawrence Fr (5*)
Singularly looking at that position, that is an awesome roster. But numbers like this will inevitably produce a lack of depth/inexperience at some other positions in the future. It's this lack of depth/experience that other teams can exploit.
Lonnie, our issue was not the signing class sizes. For the most part we have been right at or close to the 85 scholarship limit - so we are not leaving scholarships on the table. From 2012 to 2015 we averaged around 22-23 signees per year. Very few of those players left the program early, and many of them redshirted. This year will probably be our biggest class in five years because of all of the junior, senior and redshirt senior guys graduating. We didn't have much attrition and we didn't "process" guys like some programs do.
And most teams have between 3 and 5 scholarship quarterbacks. We have 4... they all just so happen to be really good, with a likely chance for some attrition after this year.
Our depth at QB, WR, OL, TE, DL, and LB is fantastic. We lack depth in our secondary (still elite at starting CB position), because of some questionable takes by Dabo. It's that simple. We are one or two injuries in the secondary away from having to rely on true freshman.

I'd be glad since I don't want him anywhere near our program.

Why does a Gamecock fan camp out on a topic like this? Do you ever talk about Gamecock athletics?
It seems like all you and Cheesegrits do on here is follow me around like a puppy. It is crazy you spend your free time marketing Alabama football even though Alabama doesn't pay you to do that. lol

Ok but I think it is going to perhaps indicate Dabo doesn't consider Alabama to be more 'prestigious'. I assume you and other Alabama homers will say he's an idiot. lol
I don't see what he can do at Bama that he can't do at Clemson. That is why I call you a homer.

I think it is safe to say without being a homer that Bama is a top 5 job in college and Clemson is not.

I'm a grown arse man bruh, let's not play this game. This isn't tigernet.

says a Bama cheerleader.
You can't articulate what makes Bama a better job than Clemson other than they overpay coaches.
If Wake Forest paid Bama crazy money, they wouldn't have a hard time lining up coaches.
