Bammers wouldn't be happy with Dabs. Y'all think Bama fans would be ok with winning games in the manner shown below?

In the 2016 regular season Clem's NC run had 4 wins of 6 points or less, one overtime win and a loss to Pitt. That NC season could have been a 6-6 regular season. It's amazing how many times Clem came close to losing in the regular season then went on to win the NC.

Here's the above mentioned games...

Auburn 19-13 W
Troy 30-24 W
Louisville 42-36 W
NC State 24-17 W OT
FSU 37-34 W
Pitt 43-42 L

11-1 could have been 6-6.

Clemson beat some scrub team 56-7, though. Can't recall who that was.

Do you remember?

All of those teams had good players.

That NC State game saw our starting RB Gallman get knocked out early on what was probably targeting, and I believe there were 4 turnovers to include one by the backup RB, and Clemson still won the game. CLemson held NC State who had NFL talent on offense to 17 points.

It is hilarious to me that you think Clemson beating FSU by 3 on the road isn't good enough, as though FSU is a cupcake team.

Clemson beat Lville despite having 5 turnovers and Lville having 100 snaps on offense. Lville had a Heisman QB.

That Pitt team had a QB that got drafted and a RB that got drafted and were one of the top scoring offenses that year. They also got a few bad/fortunate pass interference / holding calls in the game.

Troy won at LSU this year.

I think you are projecting your personality onto me homey. There are some hostile anti-social people on here. I'm not one of them.

I see this as a positive sign for our season. The more worried they are that we're going to good, the more of them that show up.

there are some Clemson fans, the ones on Tigernet, that talk about SC 24-7 regardless of how good SC is. And the same goes for some SC fans regarding Clemson.

SC will have to improve is an incredible way for them to win at Clemson this year, given Clemson has rarely lost at home in recent years.
