Would Alabama every force Saban out (Dabo related)?

This question somewhat reflects the Paterno and Bowden situation.
Hypothetically, if the opportunity presented itself, and Dabo expressed his intent and desire to take the Alabama job, would the Alabama AD and boosters ever force Saban out in hopes of securing Dabo for decades?
This, of course, is predicated on Saban not wanting to retire.
Essentially, one is 50 and one is almost 70. Would Alabama force Saban out, against his wishes, to secure Dabo for potential decades?

Most of the Bama fans I know, influential or not, have seemed to jump off the "Dabo to Bama" bandwagon over the last few years.
He's taken shots at Bama that were unnecessary and has rubbed many Bama faithful the wrong way. I also believe Dabo will be more comfortable staying at the program he built over following a legend.

He/Clemson does have this "little brother" persona. I think that's part of his/their schtick.

I think he's earned the right to stay as long as he wishes. I think he'll know when it's time to hang it up, though.

Saban is nothing like Paterno and Bowden personality wise. I dont think Saban would still coach if he couldnt meet a certain degree of excellence.

No matter what ever happens in the future Coach Bryant and Coach Saban will be more cherished than Dabo could ever dream about being. Dabo is on hind teet behind Bryant and Saban and that’s exactly why Dabo will stay his silly arse in the Palmetto State because he knows that very fact.

Umm, no. That will never happen.

Another thing that sets Saban apart is that he's willing to innovate. He saw offenses start to change and open up and brought in coaches to reinvent the offense. He saw injuries continue to pile up and our S&C program get stale and brought in Ballou and Rhea.
Unlike a lot of old school coaches, Saban has shown the willingness to change with the times. I think that will help in ensuring the game doesn't pass him by as he gets older.

I can't envision any possible scenario where Saban would be "pushed out". Especially for Dabo, in light of the current climate. Although I'm sure this will all blow over in time. One of my main reasons is that the college football national title is realistically achievable by maybe 8 different programs. You're going to have a wildcard make the playoffs every once in a while, but the select few are the only ones capable of winning it all. And the greatest coach of all time will continue to recruit and reload. He's not going to coach forever and he'll retire to the lake long before they come for his head. And I truly believe that this will affect the Dabo Image for years to come. Lucky for him, and the reason I believe he stays at Clemson if he can make people forget, is that he can run the ACC forever without worrying about someone stopping him from at least qualifying for the playoffs.

No you can't force him out period. He brought us out the dark.

Plus playing at Clemson is easy mode.

eta that no, Saban won't be forced out, but if Pruitt proves to be a very good coach he would probably get the call before Swinney would when it's time to hire a new coach

I re-watched the iron and bowl and I've never seen him that pissed. Waddle almost single handledy saved that game.

Why do people believe Dabo would leave Clemson for Alabama? I know he went there but come on. Clemson has a better recruiting pool to choose from given their location. Clemson is a nicer town than Tuscaloosa. Clemson is in the acc. Easier route to the cfp. If Dabo goes anywhere it’s the NFL.

2020 is Saban’s last year
Curse of the Bear will get him! Three losses in 2020 coming including losses to LSU again and Tennessee.
Dabo was run out of Alabama in 1990’s & 2000 along with DuBose and would not be welcomed back after the scandal.
Edit:
After Tennessee Beats Bama, and Saban dies or retires, they’ll trip over themselves to get an SEC East Champ if Pruitt can do it.
