Zack Stoudt was horrible.

True, but I would go with a different QB from that season. Jeff Klein, who had no business being a starter at this level.

I was gonna go with Dondrial Pinkins, but then I remembered Tommy Beecher.

I think I am thinking of the wrong QB. I think the one I'm talking about is Brandon Stewart.

When he did play, his lack of talent was obvious.

I think Jeff Klein is a coach somewhere now...

Trindon Holliday, although it worked out great moving him to DE...

I'm also submitting Michael Spurlock. My God, dude was Manning's back up and didn't learn a damn thing from him. Took. NOTHING.
Dude could hit the lower tier, cotton candy vendor at Vaught more than he did with any receiver on the field.

Even though I agree with you about Cox,Kublanow nor Pyke made the coaches 1st or 2nd team (post season)
And they shouldn't have.Pyke was especially a disappointment coming off a very solid 2014 season
You are correct. They made the Athlon All SEC team that season. Definitely not the same thing as coaches or ap. But a legitimate publication about a rung lower.
As I said, the good talent on the OLs were comparable. But the offense improved "addition by subtraction " when Chris Davis left. It only takes 1 screw up on the OL to crush a drive. That applies both to the running game which forces 3rd and longs. And to the passing game where the QB is running for his life. Davis had an awful year.
I'm not saying Cox is one of my favorite QBs or anything. Just that he can be a great QB in a great situation (clean pocket and great running game). As we saw in 2009, he was awful under duress. And that just encourages defenses to pressure the LOS harder making his job even tougher. Cox lacked the ability to create anything productive on his own. But given a skeleton drill (basically), he could make every throw on time and on the money.
In 2009, his 24 passing touchdowns was tied for 2nd best by a Bulldawg all time in a single season (tied with Eric Zeier and DJ Shockley and only 1 behind Matt Stafford in 2008).

Tereshitski never really played though, dude had 49 passes junior year and 57 senior year
Tereshinski started a few games in 2006 while freshmen Stafford and Cox were getting their feet wet. The starting gig changed hands almost ever other week several times over.
He may have had legitimate reasons to start because the other guys obviously weren't good enough yet to hold onto the job. But he was bad. His best play on the year was as a receiver at the goalline on a trick play. He fought hard. But didn't have the skills as the other QBs.

Oh dont get me wrong, he WAS very bad, just think someone had to play a little more than him to really be nominated here. I mean Andrew Hatch started the first few games of 2008 for us, and he was not any good, but he just didn't play enough to be nominated really to me.

Jordan Jefferson
Jarrett Lee
Anthony Jennings
Brandon Harris
Pick one and I don’t think you could go wrong with choosing any of these. I’m going with Jennings though

Wasn't Bratkowski the guy who played backup QB behind Bart Starr on the 60s Green Bay Packers?

Absolutely was Kheil Frazier. Gene Chizik has him to thank (among a host of other reasons) for not having a head coaching job anymore.

I’m 7 pages late, but felt compelled to chime in and say that Brandon Avalos was still way worse.

Michael Henig, and it’s not even close
I eventually felt sorry for the QB's we had under Croom. He couldn't recruit well enough to get a QB to run his "NFL" offense. He just kept trying to run his offense without adjusting it for the QB's we had. At the end of the day, that was on Croom. It just shows how bad recruiting was for us in 2004 and 2005 that Henig was a starter for most of 2005 and 2006.
It actually seemed like he adjusted it somewhat towards the end of the 2007 season when Wes Carroll was QB. We relied more on the run or at lease screen passes, which made sense since Carroll was a freshman and we had Dixon. The defense was also stout that season.
