Back in 2009 when Alabama played Ole Miss in Oxford, their band director thought it would be a swell idea to play "Redneck Woman" with several plus sized dancers. By far the worst halftime performance I've ever seen.
What a shame. Ole miss has some classic tunes, just no band to play them
i swear I felt like i was at a Skrillex concert last November. I thought the atmosphere would have been so much better with just the crowd

Texas Tech's pitiful excuse for a band.

No, it was bamas band. I know you are always ready to jump though...

Just because they could have successfully blocked your weak-assed defensive line doesn't mean they're plus sized.

Meh. Bamas band sucks
the worst thing about Bama's band is those twirlers. They really need a makeover.

East Central Community College Wall of Sound Band is a great band. Heck, even while we were getting our brains beat in on the field against future SEC stars they kept the 1,000 to 2,500 in attendance in the game. After half time though the stadium would empty and everyone was off to "Thursty Thursday".

what are you even talking about?
Feel free to link me to all of my ole miss flames. I have a ton of friends at OM, and as weird as it sounds I cheer for Ole Miss when they aren't playing LSU. I've also praised the campus, tailgating, and Oxford multiple times. I always enjoy my trip. Hell, I wanted to go to Ole miss in high school, but my parents knew it was for all the wrong reasons

With all of that said, I don't know how you could say your band doesn't suck and you play too much dubstep in the vaught

LSU Band playing American Woman as a tribute to the US Military when it has some not so US friendly lyrics in it

It wasn't at halftime, but in 2009 when we played Jackson State, the horrible Mississippi State band played Thriller.
Jackson State followed with their version and the stadium shook.
Anytime a HBCU band plays, people always enjoy them more. HBCU bands are musically inferior, but they are better entertainers.
I remember when I was in the band and when we (SC) would play SC State, I would hate halftime. After we performed, our fans always gave us crap about how we need to be more like SC State.

My friend from the University of Alabama posted this:
ATM - 2012.
Wannabe soldiers walking around in geometric shapes.
Wannabe soldiers?
To my friend and others who want to use that phrase. I am not sure what you mean by "Wannabe soldiers. Here are the facts. This is what we produced as of May 2013.

The Texas A&M Corps of Cadets is still the number one producer of military officers for our country outside of the service academies. This past year, despite all of the military services downsizing, Texas A&M continued to produce a large number of high caliber young men and women for our military. This May alone we commissioned 103 cadets into the Armed Forces - a record number of our men and women choosing to serve their nation, and the highest single commissioning. We expect to commission close to 200 of our cadets into the military by the end of the year in December – an indication of the faith and confidence that the Department of Defense has in our Corps to produce some of our country’s finest military officers.
