Yeah, Vandy has a terrible concourse and concessions. It's like it was designed with the fact that it'll never be within 50% capacity.
But IMO, Neyland is the biggest dump in the conference.

Noticed there have been few mentioning Mizzouri's.
That might be because, like you a lot of SEC fans have yet to make the trip to COMO.
As with any of these best/worst list threads, it's a lot of subjectivity of what people consider important and of course bias factor too when it comes to the home stadium. Without a well defined array of parameters to compare by it's just opinion. Some may say capacity factor is "good" while others may say seating comfort is what makes a stadium good, by those standards a place like Neyland could be very high or very low on a list, just depending, right?
As for Faurot Field, it WAS in need of a lot of improvements, had suffered from neglect of any real renovation for decades, but that has changed.
The renovation of the hill and pavilion above it from a year ago has gone a long way in improving the look of the stadium and the fan comfort in that area as well. The bigger east side renovation occurring right now is supposed to do the same thing for that side of the stadium. If it succeeds as planned then only the south end of the stadium is in any real need of attention and that is part of the master plan for the AD's overall renovations schedule.
If factors like historical impact and unique look are important, well Faurot scores high, the Rock M is both unique and an original feature of the stadium. The new capacity in the upper 70's will put it in the middle of SEC stadiums in that regard.
It does have more of an open stadium feel than a place like Neyland or the new Kyle and LSU's hippodrome coliseums. I'm as biased as anyone but COMO is as good a college town as any in the SEC from what I have seen and I have been to several of what are considered the best. I'd suggest you go and see for yourself.

How do you (or anyone else) know how Kyle Field will feel after construction is complete?
Not a single fan has been to a game there yet.
The engineering of Kyle Field is anything but dome-like.
Like I said earlier in the thread--CoMo is a great town.
Any fan who marks it off of his list, simply because he's unfamiliar with Mizzou, is silly.

How will they deal with the bats in the upgrade?

Will they have complimentary binoculars for anyone not in the lower bowl?

Mini Manziel jerseys...They will then fly around the stadium pregame, landing at the 12 yard line. Glory

I don't know how something can be "dome like" without having a dome, I guess maybe the old Cowboys stadium or some of the retractable dome stadiums are dome like but I never called it that to begin with.
I'm just judging new Kyle on the drawings and renderings being posted, it looks to be high walled on the outside from all four sides with only a little skyline showing as in the pic you posted.
It's an impressive structure for sure.. surprised you didn't opt for a row of columns around the top..

Bats are protected in Texas.
Besides, the critters mock our attempts to "deal" with them (e.g. netting, sonar, sound blasts, etc).
So we all simply get along together as one big, happy, bat family.

'Twould interfere with the fly-overs.

It would be great if the bats were taught to circle the stadium like Auburn's War Eagle. Also like Auburn, A&M could have multiple names. The 12th Man could also be called Bat Man and the baseball team the Bats.
Sorry, I'm bored waiting for the UK/UF game.

It sucks the women have to play at UCLA. Not feeling very confidant there.

For the most part we all know what we are judging. Hence why BDS, Death Valley, and Sanford/Jordan-Hare are rated at the top. I'm sorry the majority all agree that Missouri has a mediocre at best stadium. The rock M is pretty cheesy and the overall look of the stadium is
Sorry you homered so hard

I think we can see how full of crap you are based on your avatar alone, ergo no need to debate it, but yea, Sandord has little in the "special" category.

They do it to UK every year, always seem to wind up with the PAC team @ home in a Super.

Please tell me you aren't serious... Sorry my avatar isn't some washed up player from my school.
But if we could return to topic... Go read the entire best stadium thread. You will pick up on what Sanford has that Missouri will never have.
Stadium size: check
Comfort: check
Aesthetics: check
History: check
No cheesy logos made of rocks: check
Atmosphere: check
Gameday experience: check.
So until you can debate me on the actual topic please try to finish your summer reading before you post again.

hey your gay pornstar avatar is your business, the fact you are too stupid to realize what a fool it makes you look,, well we can all see that.
Sanford is only special to a homer like you with your dippy hedges and butt ugly red, you're too much of a homer to realize how hard you just homered well that makes you "special" too, lil pup.
