You Georgia fans are sensitive pussies suddenly. The first half we had a few things happen I blame on our players. The second half there were no adjustments and the last scoring drive took over 8 minutes. Was absurd.

Now disappear till someone says something positive about UF so you shrimp dicks can swarm in. 1980. Your time is up, and you know it. It's why you're so jumpy.

Remember, a 20 point loss is a fluke but a 7 point loss is domination.

Dan wanted to make sure he could sell the story of the gap closing, and he pulled it off.

Yup. It was stupid. It’s only a good call if the opponent is in punt return formation, which clearly wasn’t the case.

We have fricked you up 3 years in a row and the only thing you have left is a cuck coach and Obama-era hope and change feels.

in case you forgot, hurts had fresh legs and had totally gashed our defense the last 2 series. If we give them the ball back it's more than likely he knives through us again without much trouble.

The "brilliance" in the call is that it was 100% going to work if not executed woefully, which I already said was disastrous. Despite being the best coach in football, somehow, inexplicably, saban hadn't changed his punt safe team in 6 years! We had scouted that for years. Kirby even said they had that play ready to use in the '17 game but didn't have a chance to, we'd been saving that play for a while. Richt ran that exact same play against saban in 2012 and it worked for an easy first down. Lo and behold bama lined up the exact same way and left one of our players uncovered for an easy pitch and catch. There were 2 reasons the execution was absolutely pathetic, one of which was that we didn't snap the ball until like 5 seconds left on the play clock. By that time bama recognized what was happening and shifted someone over to cover swift. If we run up to the line and run the play, like we did in 2012, we have a first down in field goal range and likely win.

so again, as I said...fantastic playcall with pathetic execution. But of course I'm sure your response will be the same 'hurr durr fake punt' that I've grown used to at this point.

Alas, that is exactly why Kirby should have called a time out to nix the play call.

I wish cbs wasn’t so terrible at that point in the game because we can’t see for sure how it all went down.

Also. Kirby putting our Qb in that spot was extremely stupid. Richt didn’t do that in 2012.

that was the 2nd reason the execution was dreadful. In 2012 it was a tight end. Teh combination of putting our backup QB there and waiting the entire damn playclock is what doomed the play. If we again put a TE there and throw it as we hit the line it's one of the best playcalls of the decade.

Thats why I wish CBS didn't screw up so badly not that play. I have my doubts about the "swift was wide open until Fields waited too long" story that some like you spread. Its easier to imagine that Bama was all over the obvious personal change very early on.

2012 Bama we ran a fake field goal in a weird spot that they sniffed out that probably cost us the game.

2001 SECCG Saban went for it on like a 4th and 6 from our own 38 or something silly like that. We won the game so it didn’t matter but it was a major WTF moment.

The entire Chad Morris tenure but especially when he claimed he was going vanilla and only installed 30% of a non-existent offense.

There's a couple of different ways to look at it.
Having fields out there hurt the element of surprised.
But if you are going to chance a 4th down throw, having a QB throw to a RB and being covered by a LB is the matchup that you want.

The key is that the QB needs to make the throw. Let it rip, and lead the RB to the open spot in the defense.

That is exactly how I would draw it up. Unfortunately, the QB likes pulling the ball down and scrambling.

Playing Jared Mayden at Safety all season. Dude couldn’t cover a WR if they were attached at the hip. He cost us the LSU and Auburn games.

Saban’s worst coaching moment was losing to UAB.
