Question mainly for UF/UGA fans but anyone chime in. Would you like to see the game evolve like AU/UA to a home and home or keep it neutral site? Moving from Legion Field was great for our rivalry. Just curious.

Needs to stay in Jacksonville.
Frat Beach/St. Simons is a holy tradition that needs to stay in place for my great, great, great, great, great grandchildren.

Jacksonville.
Otherwise, it isnt the worlds largest outdoor cocktail party. It would be a big home game.

Seems to me that online football fans are against neutral site games. When they're played in NFL stadiums they're definitely not popular among fans.
I like them and don't mind them being played in NFL stadiums as long as its once a season.
I could be wrong but I'm thinking the players like playing in NFL stadiums being that its different and they may never get to experience it

What if they did on a four year schedule 1 home, 1 in Jacksonville, 1 away, 1 in Jacksonville? Call it a trial run. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but home/away for this rivalry could be huge.

I’m sort of against neutral site games, but only the modern/sterile versions that have been pumped out for the last decade or so.
GA/FL has been hosted in Jacksonville since the 1930’s (sans mid 90’s for renovations), so it’s very traditional and historic in nature. The game and travel to JAX are major tradition amongst the UGA students, alumni, and fans.

With the inevitable expansion of the SEC, I think all neutral site games should go away. Two main reasons:
1. The amount of revenue potential for the host city
2. There shouldn't be advantages for some and not all. Particular schools shouldn't be able to avoid hostile road environments with annual neutral site games while others have to play in said hostile road environments every other year.

With expansion coming it could also throw a wrench into it all? I'm with you, I think neutral site rival games are good for college football

I'm a traditionalist...KEEP IT IN JACKSONVILLE, even though it's only 70 miles from UF's campus (at least Jax is far enough away from UF whereby their campus sewer smells don't interfere w/the game experience).

I truly hope that the conference would protect tWLOCP if expansion threatened to move it.
It’s a marquee matchup for the SEC and is a foundation of the yearly CBS (soon to be ABC/ESPN) schedule. I see the conference going to great lengths to keep GA/FL intact as much as they can.

Jacksonville. If you haven’t gone down on a Wednesday and stayed on one of the many islands before tailgating in city on Saturday, you haven’t done it right and don’t have a fair view of why the game and location transcends the typical neutral site nonsense.
Would honesty feel weird playing this game anywhere but Jacksonville

It's an excuse not to have to play in The Swamp*
UGA, by far, has the least amount of games in hostile road environments.
Fact.

Home and home
Jacksonville sucks, the landing started sucking after 2002.
Folks who stay in st simons rarely go to the game anyways. They spend most of the week trying to play golf.
I have done all of these things.

Jacksonville pays both schools a boatload of cash each year to keep the game. Doesn’t do much for Athens/Gainesville but both towns do just fine without the extra weekend

Cool fact.
Doesn’t change the fact the game deserves to and will stay in Jacksonville.

Ok.
What about Norman? Fayetteville?
Why should the city of Dallas bring in all that cash, regardless of what they send each school?

It needs to stay in JAX. Like others have mentioned, the traditions, just among families and friends are long and deep rooted. The coasts of Georgia and Northern Florida are always rockin that week. Alot of fans are there for the whole week.

The Landing doesn’t even exist anymore and if that was part of your main experience outside of making a token appearance, you did it wrong.

St Simons is the worst of the beaches. Amelia, Jax Beach, Jekyll are all superior for week-before experience. Only thing St Simons has going for it is Southern Soul BBQ and frat beach (before they started killing it off)
