Keep it in JAX. It belongs there and it’s a short drive for me and it’s got a great game atmosphere. But I see your point because places like “Jerry World” suck for college football.

Keep it the same way it is now...

There shouldn't be advantages for some and not all. Particular schools shouldn't be able to avoid hostile road environments with annual neutral site games while others have to play in said hostile road environments every other year.
On the flip side, you don’t enjoy the advantages of a friendly home game either.

However having been to both the Cocktail Party and the Red River game they both have their nuances. Red River has much more of a state vs. state vibe than does the Georgia Florida game which still seems to be more about the Universities. The other thing is that Red River is a bit more festive on game day because of the Texas State Fair while the Cocktail Party is more like your typical parking lot tailgate experience.
The Cocktail Party leadup seems to have a little more hostility outside the stadium because the fair seems to distract the OU and Texas fans from going at each other as much.
Most of the hostility, as in drunken brawls, typically happen the night before the Red River Shootout. The West End, Deep Ellum, and Lower Greenville areas of Dallas are packed with fans from both schools the night before. It used to be Commerce street but the cops shut it down in the 90's because it got too out of hand. It's not as crazy as used to be but, I blame that on Texas sucking for the better part of a decade. The atmosphere is indescribable when both teams are ranked in the top ten.
It's usually a lot calmer at the fairgrounds because it's always an early game and everyone is hungover.

Don't know about that. Its the best tailgating of any CFB game I've ever been to.Its a pretty unique experience with multiple lots shared by both fan bases. Its my favorite part of the WLOCP outside of the game.
It is a Halloween party rolled into tailgating due it being schedule around Halloween every year.

Anyone who says this has never been to the game. It is not typical by any stretch. You can start with that there are more people outside the stadium during the game than the stadium can hold. Not typical at all. Not to mention all the rest of the stuff that goes on.

Question mainly for UF/UGA fans but anyone chime in. Would you like to see the game evolve like AU/UA to a home and home or keep it neutral site? Moving from Legion Field was great for our rivalry. Just curious.
YES!!! Either Athens & Gainsville or Atlanta & Jacksonville!!!

What if they did on a four year schedule 1 home, 1 in Jacksonville, 1 away, 1 in Jacksonville? Call it a trial run. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but home/away for this rivalry could be huge.
WHY the F would you play it twice in Jax.?

I'm a traditionalist...KEEP IT IN JACKSONVILLE, even though it's only 70 miles from UF's campus(at least Jax is far enough away from UF whereby their campus sewer smells don't interfere w/the game experience).
Hince you might as well call it a HOME GAME for the SwampRats!
