W Bush was a epitome of not running his mouth, went out his way to reach across the aisle, turn the other cheek… and the media treated him the same way they did Trump the last 2 years he was in office. Not that I'm super keen on going down the political path in these, but actively pissing off enough folks in a swing state to lose it by bad mouthing someone they liked is just plain political stupidity.
