Missouri didn't join without a lot to offer like sports teams and other businesses in the area that help support SEC.

You came into this conf. because you opened up an entirely new t.v. market.........just like OU would do.

Why many say Big 12 will collapsed in the future?

They say this because Texas runs that conf. in every meaningful way..........and the other schools will get tired of it and bolt for other conferences.

Look where the teams are and it is way lopsided and few population and fewer TV. market.

You are being so narrow minded. How many OU grads/fans live outside of the State of Okl.?

What you don't get.....the more households that are paying for the SECN means more $$$ for every school in the conf.. It also means more advertising $$$'s for the SECN.....which means more $$$'s for every school in the conference.

Then why were they not given the spot over Missouri! Also OU will not go without OSU!

Here is the secret that everybody knows except you....A&M and you were not the first two choices. Va. Tech and Okl. were the first two choices. Both turned down the SEC.

Now I am not even sure A&M and you were the next choices. (I am glad both of you are in the conf.) What was imperative with the last expansion was opening up new t.v. markets. A&M and you checked those boxes.

ETA opening up even more t.v. markets will be imperative with the next expansion.........whenever that is.

guess you don't get it why other former Big12 left? Texas! Texas is the main reason for the fall of the Big12! Missouri will never go back to the Big12 even if Texas left. It is too weak of a conference.

I get all that. I know Missouri isn’t going back.

But I’d like for it to happen.

Yes, it would be awesome listening to Texas fans constantly talk about how they have the most money in college football and how they can buy anything they want(even though they never actually fricking do it).

We already have this with aggy don’t we?

Partially true. Texas runs the conference but The schools that are left have no other choice but to stay.

A huge number of OK fans are tshirt fans. Check that popularity when they play an SEC schedule and aren’t in the top 10 anymore.

OK tv market is a joke. There are a million more TV sets in St. Louis and Kansas City than all of Oklahoma.

We are in the same page here. OU would add alot to the SEC dollar wise. It would also add to solidify the Texas Market. Dallas is full of OU alum and fans.

I would welcome them.

Well, if Texas does join the SEC, they should get more money than lesser teams like Auburn, Vandy, Ole Miss, etc... because of their brand.

That's how it works in the Big 12 and that's how it will work here in the SEC for them too.

Why doesn’ LSU, Texas and OU form
Their own SEC. Self Ego Cartel. They have more t shirt fans than the rest of the country combined.

You have lost two of the last three and four of the last ten to that "lesser brand".

Even if the rest of the SEC, which I think would be very meh about it at best, wanted Texas I just don't see the bloc of Arkansas, A&M, and Missouri saying yes to the Longwhorns.

Arkansas might, might I say, grudgingly be talked into it but A&M and Missouri would sooner renounce sports altogether than share another conference with the Whorns.

Why would A&M rate a vote? If Texas comes in, they gotta go.
