They have to do something. The buyout only goes down ~$9M/year. They would still have to pay him $58M after 2025.

Worst college football coach contract ever.

Yep. But they need to cut ties before he sinks the entire program.

Expect a mass exodus of players and current recruits.

No idea man. But it may not be a problem with the buyout but having the money to hire a big name coach.

They need to honor the contract and let him stay.

they should start by firing the fool that gave him that contract.

Those contracts are nuts. The only thing a coach in a contract like those has to do if he is ready to quit is to lose until he is fired.

We haven’t raided all the local children’s hospitals yet. Can y’all email over the step by step instructions. Thanks.

I really don't see how they do this at this point. They're going to be LSU this year in terms of scholarships.

Jumbo won't win the West with that happening. They've got to cut ties now.

But who can they even go after as HC?

It happened around the time Jumbo was here so, he should have the flowchart.

Should be in between the 2&9 and 2&8 flowcharts and true and false questions in the playbook.

You're welcome.

What has the program really accomplished? It wasn’t like they were ever competing for championships. They haven’t been in a conference championship game since 1998.

So how can Jimbo sink a ship that never sailed?

If he loses 20 recruits/ current players Aggy will DOA before UT and OU ever play a game in the SEC.

THE 10 YEAR sec advantage would be burned down faster than Sumlin heading west from College Station.

You really hate to see it

Aggies always talk about how much money their program has. It’s time to put that to the test and pay the buyout. If I’m A&M, I start by firing the AD or whoever approved the contract, then work out a plan on how to pay Jimbo buyout and fire him at the end of the season

Oh, that explains it. LSU destroyed A&M from the inside with that contract
