No idea man. But it may not be a problem with the buyout but having the money to hire a big name coach.
Completely agree with this. After Jimbo and his entire staff get bought out, you are looking at over 100 million. I don't care how much money boosters and the athletic department have, doing something like that and THEN having to go and pay for another staff is basically impossible to do. If A&M wanted to go and get someone like a Kiffin, how much would that cost? It would be whatever his buyout would be at Ole Miss plus at least 100 million guaranteed and that's just for his salary. That doesn't include all the other position coaches he would be hiring! It truly doesn't make financial sense to make any change until at least 2024. This is truly depression level sad if you are an A&M fan because this will cripple your football team until then.

Huh? What portion of the program is still above water, man? Or were you trying to say it hasn’t quite touched ocean floor yet? Considering a possible loss to UMass, that might be a possibility but, man, aTm is the Titanic of college football. Have y’all considered soccer?

It is not even conceivable that he would be bought out.Talk about your congressional investigations, the idiots in Washington would use it politically, even if the money came from anonymous private donors. The mantra would be……but, but academics, charity, etc etc. Aggie has basically changed college footballs future with this hire. Idiots.

Little Sausage, why not just admit your supposed best ever coach hasn’t panned out but once an aggie always an aggie. So buy him out if you can scrape together the money which we both know, you can’t. So just leave the man alone and allow him to continue losing.

Just a hint from the LSU guys.
Cut ties with the shitty AD that extended him. Then fire Jimbo.

I told y’all long ago aggies on this board were lying about being rich.
When they left the Big12 aggy didn’t have two nickels to rub together.
They took the havenots Nebraska exit money in an agreement to not leave, then did just that the very next year. Texas and OU took not a dime.
Their athletic department still owes the school 30 million dollars. Aggy has no money.

they should start by firing the fool that gave him that contract.
