Yeah what a wiff by the UCLA left fielder

If UCLA holds on, I doubt they'll have Garcia available against UF. She's thrown a lot of pitches.

FSU's first baseman is trash.

Garcia threw about 140 pitches. So I guess she won't be available tomorrow. Those winner's brackets games tomorrow should be good.

Some pitchers can pitch for days, but she did look tired at the end. She was still bringing the heat though. Definitely rather face someone else.

Best case scenario for UF.
Barnhill is ready to go and the bats came alive.

Crucial for UF to win tomorrow. Considering they run-ruled UGA, Ocasio's pitch count isn't bad. So UF really has the entire staff available for tomorrow.

While it's a nice consolation that either UGA or FSU will be eliminated tomorrow, I much rather would have faced FSU and put UCLA in the losers bracket. If we win tomorrow, I suppose it's all gravy, but god knows how many homers Barnhill will give up.

UCLAs pitching worries me more than their bats.

Barnilll this year
Innings Pitched 205
ERA 1.06
Outside of Garcia, UCLA doesn't have another pitcher within Top 50 in ERA
Pitching should favor UF in this game but Barnhill hasn't looked great recently.
Loser of UCLA v FL will most likely play Oklahoma, IMO.

We'll see how it plays out, but I prefer for this team to go against a rise ball pitcher. Especially one that just threw 140+ pitches the night before.

If Garcia pitches for UCLA, that should bode well for UF but I haven't heard anything about who UCLA will pitch.

Oregon v Washington now started on ESPN.
UW using same pitcher from yesterday. Not sure how many pitches she threw yesterday. And she walks the first batter.

Boring game so far. Going to bottom of the 4th, 0-0

Bottom of the 5th, Oregon pitcher around 60 pitches now. UW got the bases loaded with one out, Oregon can't execute the throw and catch for a force out at home, UW takes 1-0 lead.
Then line drive through the right side brings in 2 runs - one of them due to this retarded obstruction rule. This is the dumbest rule ever.

UW keeps adding to their lead and is now about to close this out on Oregon. Top 7, and it's 6-0 lead.
This would put Oregon playing tomorrow against the winner of UGA / FSU.

UW finishes Oregon. Very impressive so far.
UF v UCLA up next.
Looks like UW will get in the championship series.

Garcia is pitching for UCLA again. She threw about 140 pitches yesterday. This has to be an advantage for UF, but we'll see.
