There isn't anything wrong with Crean besides being alittle nutty. He is a pretty good coach.

Tubby is 66 and can't recruit anymore. Love the guy, but he's not getting anymore power 5 jobs.

That's a lot of money for Crean. The important number is the buyout after year 2.

UGA is where programs turn to find those retreads. ADs do not hold it against any coach for not being successful at UGA in BB.

Once Matta's people leaked that we'd offered him $3.2 per year I figured we'd have to offer Crean the same type of deal.

Good hire.
He's good but his fanbase at IU outright hated him, to an extreme degree. Probably not his fault, he's just kind of socially awkward and weird, and the results had tapered off a bit. But for Georgia he should do well.

Congrats on the hire Dawgs. I mean that. I think he's got a lot left in the tank and is going to be a definite improvement over whatever the hell Fox was doing.
