Let’s also not confuse Uga v Clemson to Texas vs ATm.
Uga and Clemson have been playing for years, out of conference.....with a lot on the line.
Texas and aTm May never agree to play but will use the out of conference excuse for years.

The demise of Clemson-Georgia as an annual game had everything to do with the conference expansion & realignment of 1990-91. It never was a case of either school not wanting to play the other. There's some lament about it but it's from a bygone era that isn't coming back. We play each other when we can, which comes out to about 2-3 times per decade.
