-Clemson is our 8th most played opponent of all time, ahead of Tennessee, the mississippi schools, and LSU to name a few. We have played clemson routinely throughout our history.
-we started playing them in the 1800s and from the 1960s-1990s played damn near every season (this is in addition to playing tech along wiht our SEC schedule).
-Once schedules changed in the early 2000s, we've still managed to play them once or twice a decade. To go along wiht a built in ACC opponenent and our 8 game SEC schedule. We did a h/h in the aughts, a h/h in the teens, and have more scheduled comign up
-To along with your utterly retarded original point, clemson football is currently at the highest level they've been since the early 80s, and very likely the highest level they've ever been in their history. And it's during this current high water mark that we've scheduled 3 upcoming games wiht them, one as a neutral opener and yet another home and home
