Maybe some hope from an Orlando sports reporter

Adam Shadoff FOX 35
@FOX35Adam
I will say this surrounding the Josh Heupel to Tennessee talk tonight. Danny White has done an exceptional job at keeping past hires completely quiet and stopping any leaks. A leak like this would be a shock.
I’ve also talked to a few UCF people who are surprised at the reports.

Roll with Steele for a year and reset.

Been thinking this for a week now. Let Steele be a 'stop gap' to get through this NCAA shite and get your ducks in a row for the next search after the dust settles.

Exactly. Steele plays Matt Luke for a couple years.

I know a source inside that said all the UCF players can’t stand him which is why many left.

Well, you’ve got the best offensive line coach in the country. You people need to do whatever it takes to keep him around. I couldn’t believe he followed Heupel to UCF.

Glen Elarbee? We’ll see if he follows Heupel to Knoxville.

Yep. He consistently puts out the best product I’ve ever seen, from a consistency standpoint. The OL group that UT had this past year would have been absolute monsters under Elarbee. He’s done it everywhere he’s been. When he showed up at Mizzou, he inherited a group that wasn’t returning a single starter and they ended up being one of the best OLs in the country. The dude is truly elite.

Yeah I remember him at Mizzou. Then when he was the 2018 football scoop offensive line coach of the year at UCF, I thought this guy must be pretty damn good. I actually think that Heupel can put together a quality staff in Knoxville, but I’m not sure that going to be enough.

Lol I am so far out on this fat fricking loser. If they trot this marshmallow with legs to the podium, I am finally washing my hands of this wasteland excuse of a football program.

There’s nothing but tone deaf buffoons running this clown show and I want off the ride permanently.

Bill Clark man. Sexy? No, but he’d absolutely lay a solid foundation and culture while navigating through this current mess.

Nope.

I’m with you. I know a hypnotherapist to assist me in changing my allegiance if this happens.

Why would we pay this fricker 1.8 million to bring his shite coach from UCF?

Seriously??? Your university administration has been making moronic decisions about the AD and the head football coach for 12 years. Why would you expect anything different?

Well since Vol posters have abandoned their board on this site, I had to venture over to VolNation to get the feel for this hire. Looks like 90% of them have talked themselves into this being a good hire lol

0.0% of the board elites on this platform use the terrible board we have on here and we most certainly do not use Volnation so you are looking in all the wrong places, quesadilla

when I looked earlier, Most in the big thread hated it.

There are Vols who'd take, for sure, but their stupid.

There are a handful pushing Jeff Fisher

From what I can tell, most want Freezus, Lane or Campbell over there but don't see any of that happening. Not this cycle

Show me the way, Mr Ricky. I love a Vols coaching search like everyone else but this one has frankly sucked
