It was very hard to determine but the winner is Auburn.
It was Auburn.
Was there any doubt?
Sure, 7SU fans fought hard and I'm shocked they didn't win. After 7SU and Auburn were unable to repeat as National Champs by Proxy, Auburn set itself apart and set the bar high. Auburn's despair and misery of beating both rivals only to see Georgia and Alabama fight it out in an epic National Championship was just too much for 7SU fans to overcome even with having O as HC.
You win and deservedly so.
Ok, the season is over. Time to move on. Time for 2018 off-season competition to begin. Auburn, use this momentum to push yourselves further in '18. Aggie will be tough competition but use this hate and bitterness to propel yourselves to victory. Bring it home for the state of Alabama!

Yesss I won a lot of money off of this!! War song birds war!! They are with Kentucky and vandy in having losing records to thier rivals. And on top of that seeing thier rivals play in the title is what motivated them even more!along with losing to ucf!

They are still melting into 2018 and once they realize that Kirby has cut off their pipeline into GA, it will get worse.
And, yes Auburn fans I know you signed some 4 stars from GA but UGA did not pursue a single one of them. Times they are a changing.

It is truly a fascinating thing to watch the reverse melt unfold. I've never witnessed two fanbases melt so hard over another fanbase not melting like they think they should.

Honestly, most of my Auburn fans aren't melting - I think because they didn't have a lot of expectations after the loss to LSU and the very low offensive output vs Clemson. I think AU fans were as surprised as everyone else on their 2-game run vs Alabama and UGA.
Of course, message board melting and melting among friends are two very different animals.

I guess they're upset with us that we are not upset about bama needing referees to win a championship and Georgia still hasn't won a championship in nearly 40 years.

I think the bigger melt is from UGA fans who so desperately wanted AU fans to melt all over this place. The melt from AU fans hasn't been bad.
