I know Elko had to play with cards he was dealt to start with, but it is mystifying to me that with all TAM's money and desire to win, they have not been able to recruit/develop a really great QB. I'm NOT an Aggie hater and would like a real answer from Aggie fans, how about it?

Is there any truth to the rumor Connor was sick and not at his best? He did not look like he did last year before injury.
It is just the first game anyway. I watch Missouri for the most part and there was a time no one thought Brady Cook was a SEC level quarterback. People on our board whose opinions I respect said so among others. Not many believed in him except Luther Burden and the rest of the team and Eli Drinkwitz and the coaches.
How everyone else could be so wrong and Eli so right just shows why the coach makes the big bucks.

aggies have had more 5* QBs in the past what 10yrs than anyone else... so it remains to be seen.

Word is, he's a habitual stoner and has been since high school. Outside of practice he spends his time hanging out in his room and getting high. Seems his habits have caught up to him and he's got a case of the Ricky Williams. Just doesn't give a frick about his performance or work ethic, only the toke.

After hearing him talk I understand why he hasn't lived up

My point is no one is talking about your broke arse Vince Young.
Johnny won the Heisman.
Your guy failed the Wonderlic.

It’s not like an A&M fan would know this, but winning a national championship > heisman.

Having money > being dumb and broke after a career in the NFL

Nope. Johnny has money. Never filed bankruptcy.
Rumor has it VY invested in tequila and pot stickers. You wish it weren’t so but…

Become a bust?
He’s already there.
He’s already there.

Yeah I’m sure the drug addict has money lol.
It’s hilarious how you’ve went to “he won a Heisman” to “well he’s not broke” after realizing he’s less accomplished than Vince Young lol.

I didn’t “go” anywhere. I said your savior was broke and unintelligent in my initial post. You’ve offered some strawman arguments, but what I said is still true.
Isn’t it?
ETA: Johnny Football was a small 3-star QB and won the Heisman. What was Vince’s excuse?

Just like CJ Stroud did
It’s almost like the Wonderlic matters very little?

He ran every carry in practice, to the goal line. He came back his Senior year to play for a new Head Coach, and graduated. Ricky's performance or work ethic were never an issue.
You only wish CW had a case of the Ricky Williams.

Anything is possible lol. He looked
Bad Saturday no doubt. He'll have his A game when they play Bama.
Always works out that way.
