His name was Chuck Person. I know all about it, but it seems you don't. Link for your reading pleasure.

Why hasn't the NCAA been monitoring Pearl at Auburn, after his infractions at Tennessee?

Auburn may already have an NOA, they're just not telling anyone.

I know him, dumbshit, I was an student-athlete the same time as his brother at Auburn. Do you know what he was accused of doing? It wasn't making "strong arse offers", he was steering kids AWAY from the program.

That is close but not quite. Person did give players money to sign with a $ rep after they left. That is a violation for which I think we already suffered enough under. Person was trying to run a con himself because he only gave the players(and momma) a tiny bit of what he was given and he kept the rest for himself..

If I was LSU, I would lawyer up and threaten the NCAZI's with unequal enforcement if the blue bloods skirt

Who is also a felon who lied under oath

It's his word against Wade's. Again, there is NO direct evidence of paying a player

Safer from what? From NCAA trouble? You may be right.
From being fired? Doesn't matter. He gone.

He is about to embarrass your university (which is more than just your football team btw) on national television in a very permanent manner.

LSU will now be the poster child for this scandal, which the nation will be very interested in because we need something given the state our country is us.

This isn't a court of law and there's no such thing as double jeopardy in the NCAA.
They WILL reinvestigate after being made a fool of on HBO.
They'll be out for blood.

So he was implicated in those violations? I don’t see any record of it.

I like sports a lot myself. But let’s be honest. Will Wade is someone that, whether caught or not, was obviously buying players. It is what it is. The guy’s dirty. If he doesn’t go down, he doesn’t. If he does, he does. North Carolina got away with an obvious academic cheating scheme in basketball. Auburn got away with obviously paying a football player to go to Auburn. My guess is nothing happens.

They will not.. the NCAA already crawled all over LSU. They interviewed players..players families..and administration and Wade.

The NCAA does not have time and resources to plow through the same stuff. The NCAA had all of this before.. the HBO thing has nothing new.

I don't care if Wade stays at LSU or not. I figure all the pub surrounding him will curtail his recruiting ability and he ain't that good a coach. I mean hell he got blown out by an Arkansas team with less talent. Significantly less on the inside.

Will Wade pays players, is a confirmed cheater, and has poor personal hygiene.
