The NCAA and FBI has cleared Will Wade, and LSU hasn't been charged with any NCAA infractions.

The NCAA has charged Bill Self and Kansas with lack of institutional control and its head men's basketball coach with violating coaching-responsibility standards, all stemming from the FBI's investigation into college basketball that has rocked the sport over the past two years. This same investigation revealed testimony that football players at Bama were paid.

Why would the NCAA not charge Wade/LSU, but charge blueblood program Kansas and Bill Self? If you guys want Will Wade's head, you better have more proof or documentation, other than transcripts and recordings made well over 2 years ago regarding a strong arse offer.

This isn't a court of law and there's no such thing as double jeopardy in the NCAA.
They WILL reinvestigate after being made a fool of on HBO.
They'll be out for blood.

Keep telling yourself that. The NCAA was already on the LSU campus investigating football.

Wade comes in and wins SEC, beats Calipari and Kentucky. Calipari, a known cheater at Memphis and UMass, and King of the One and Done Players at UK.

Coach O comes in and begins recruiting ranked up there with Bama and Clemson. Wins a NC in short order.

Seems like LSU is a victim of its own success. Start competing and beating the blue-blood programs and the NCAA begins sniffing around. Wonder what coaches are making those calls to NCAA headquarters?

Is it really a conspiracy, or does the NCAA always look closer at programs when they are successful?

Bill Self actually has hardware and is one of the best coaches in the country, and he's at a Blue Blood program. I fail to see any comparison.

Who was talking to a cheating coach, by his
own words, was/is involved in the practice
of buying recruits.

I wasn’t aware he had any major violations in his career. Perhaps you can share a link.

Depends on whether you are Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, UNC, Kansas, etc. in basketball. Except with Kansas they had no choice this time on ignoring this blue-blood.

Does anyone really believe Calipari is running a clean program at UK, after he wasn't at his last two stops at Memphis or UMass? Why isn't the NCAA monitoring his program at UK when it's a proven fact what went on under him at two prior schools? Why hasn't the NCAA been monitoring Pearl at Auburn, after his infractions at Tennessee? Then his asst coach get caught up in the scandal, and he supposedly has clean hands. Puhhhh_Leeeeze.

Either the NCAA needs to grow a set and go after everyone cheating, and they know who they are, or go after no one. They won't because March Madness is a $1 billion money maker for them up until COVID-19 this year.

Because they weren't talking about it on the phone?? It's one thing to try raise some reasonable doubt on Wade, but trying to absolve him of any wrongdoing is ridiculous.
