I really don't care if players are getting some money. All of these talking heads just want to talk about how college players are being used. Then when the players get some money these same people act like its some sin against god.

and why do you think nothing happened to Auburn?
- Cam Newton didn't get paid to attend Auburn
- Cam Newton got paid to attend Auburn but NCAA couldn't prove money changed hands.

no one believes that actually (except the tape wasn't ever leaked). However, what we do know, is no one else will ever hear the full version of that tape. So sorry to disappoint you

The FEDS looked into it. The reason Auburn didn't get probation is because the NCAA and FEDS found no wrongdoing.

The NCAA spent part of a day talking with Smart and his Mom. That is not an investigation. That is called "having a meet and greet".
ETA As I said at the time......the NCAA had not cleared LSU. The NCAA had not even gotten started with LSU. Who knows what will come of this? I do know that the NCAA will investigate the public allegations against LSU. The bad thing for LSU, there will not just be NCAA investigators looking into it.

Let me be clear I don't care if Cam got paid. You just seem to have blinders on when discussing these two situations.

You keep leaving out that the FEDS couldn't prove it either. They are in the business of finding money trails. IF Auburn paid him, you all need to take notes.

That is the relevant point. The FEDS are known for their skills at finding money that people don't want found. That is kind of their forte.

That's what some of you don't seem to grasp. Not even the NCAA hands out sanctions for what they think is happening.
