Opened 90 years ago in 1929, it was originally named Denny Stadium in honor of George H. Denny, the school's president from 1912 to 1932. In 1975, the state legislature added longtime head coach and alumnus Paul "Bear" Bryant to the stadium's name.

Our stadium is named after a legendary coach and an ex president

I understand a baby born in Alabama was named Brian Dennehy Stadium a few years back, and not talking about the one in 2018.

Thank God for SSNs.

Lies. I’m not sure why you would dishonor the great Brian Dennehy like this especially after he donated those chimes to your school after his big payday on Rambo First Blood.

Ok now I know you are joking around. Couldn't tell if you were one of the very few L8U fans with a sense of humor.

There is NO way your IQ exceeds 90 unless you are on the spectrum. You are on the spectrum, right?

No. It is too iconic of a name now. If it wasn't named after Huey Long back then it will never be named after anybody.

It seems every other college stadium is named after a former coach, etc.
