Until they prove otherwise, "Never" works quite well.

I don't see A&M getting better than this past season for some time to come.

They peaked during a very unfortunate time. I would have liked to have seen what they could have been during a normal season.

2020 was A&M’a best team ever. . Going to be a 3-4 loss team in 2021.

That's what everyone said when the 2020 10 game all-SEC schedule came out. We were supposed to lose to Florida, Auburn, LSU, and possibly Tennessee for a 5-5 schedule.

But then 9-1 happened, so who knows. My guess is we take a step back to 8-5. But then again LSU is rebuilding, Auburn has a new coach, Arkansas doesn't have talent, and Mike Leach seems very lost in Starkvegas. So the window for SEC West #2 seems wide open.

I know LSU fans hate to admit it, but the 10 game SEC schedule this year was way harder than any 8 game SEC Schedule + 4 cupcakes. In most years, most schools will only play 9 P5 teams tops. This season, every SEC team played 10 SEC games.

With that said, what Jimbo did this year was pretty damn impressive. And what Nick Saban did at Alabama was ridiculous. Alabama had the best team in CFB history. I think they smack the 2019 LSU team and every past Alabama championship team if they went head to head. They were just ridiculous and nobody can deny that.

Lolwut? Did you just make this up?

Aggie returned the most production in the conference, pretty much everyone who was reasonable thought they'd be good.

Several of the teams you mentioned were also considerably worse than was predicted.

So most everyone on the rant thought they'd be 5-5. Yep, that adds up. Those same morons think they are gonna fall back to 7-5 next year.

Read the topic you linked. Several people picked Aggie to go 7-3, one said 8-2.

non-Ags prediction of 2020 A&M on that thread average a 6-4, which is pretty close to the 5-5 referenced in the above comment.

You're referencing troll posts, its very easy to see who is trolling or not in that topic.

7-3 would've been my pick.

A&M bringing in some serious talent. Fisher has his culture change, and now he is just stacking players. After this next year, it gets real. Still could be pretty good next year anyway depending on how the schedule works out ...

These are all the same things Fisher did at FSU.

Where he finished his stint at 10-3, 10-3, and 7-6.

In the weak arse ACC.

His offense just can't beat the big boys anymore.

Yes, but FSU screwed it up by arguing with Fisher. A&M will give the man whatever he requires. Pretty soon, we will be at an even talent level with the elite in the SEC.

This year happened with Sumlin's three star players as Seniors. Like I've said, we aren't going away anytime soon. 2022 could very well be A&M's best class yet under Fisher. Let's wait and see ...

It's looking pretty good from where we are sitting

Fisher had more talent than most of the SEC at Florida State.

Still finished out going 10-3, 10-3, and 7-6 in the ACC. Dude just didn't adjust to the offensive revolution.
