No this is our first true road game to a hostile environment.
A true test for a freshman quarterback and he will make a few mistakes just depends on how our team responds from those mistakes.
It should be a close game.

Common sense. He's looked good against Charmin. Oklahoma will be a bit different. I do think Tennessee wins, but expect it to be close.

Brint V will have a target on the UTK QB - he won't finish the game -

Tenn defense is legit too - this will be a game where both defenses dominate -

Tennessee wins 26-20 in OT -

I don't think anyone expects games between the top teams in the SEC to be blowouts.

All we have are a bunch of ignoramuses that don't pay close attention to sh!t and post nothing but sh!t because of their hatred of us being back.

This game is not going to be close! When you struggle against your cupcakes, you are in trouble!

Some thought the NC State game was going to be close; they got slapped around

SAME THEME HAPPENING HERE!

Lord

You sure didn't pay attention to sh!t

You go say that to rival Clemson fans when it came to Georgia.

You saw what happened in the second-half.

This game WILL NOT BE CLOSE and WILL NOT GO TO OVERTIME!

Now go back drowning in tears from blowing last weekend's game!

I will not this time and never have rooted for bloU to win anything, but I would like them to be undefeated coming to Dallas in October.

Classic dilemma..

not much of a dilema considering we beat you last year …. What does losing to OU have to do with us winning or losing a week before lol.

I see a lot of Tennessee supporters from Nebraska.
Must be some really bad blood between them.
Too bad Nebraska fell off the map just like we did.
Anyways Go Vols

I don't see Oklahoma getting over the 20 point mark. Their offense plays like NC State.

10-17 is more like it.

Tennessee narrowly escapes in a low scoring affair. 24-21 type of game.

Your laughing to yourself because IT ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN!

Struggling against teams like Houston and Tulane DOESN’T PREPARE YOU FOR A GAME LIKE THIS!

It would not be shocking. Its what the Big12 has always been about....all scoring, no defense. It would not be the most points ever scored in Norman I'd bet, may be the most OU ever gave up but they regularly beat the conference full of rent a wins by huge margins and are traditionally not overly concerned with defense.

Against some AAC level teams. But Okie is just too strong and will push the Vols around. I just hope we can crawl into the bye week and heal so the season doesn’t spiral after this game.

I’d love to put up a lot of points because that would mean I didn’t have to worry all game but as soon as you think a game will be high scoring it turns into a grind. NCState went all in on covering our WRs so we grinded them to dust with the run. OU has a great run defense though so I suspect they will have an easier time frustrating the offense.

I suspect Nico will run more this game and that we’ll see 4 wide with Matthews back. Also, 12 personnel has been working well with Kitselman turning into a very good pass catching TE (he came in as a blocker). But since we’ve not had to play whole games, I also suspect we’re going to do some things no one has seen yet.
