True but Texas seems legit. If Georgia cannot beat them then they are running the table.

That would be funny. Vanderbilt to the rescue.

Not really. Don't like Texas (BDJoe says "Hi, and HORNS DOWN"). But I'd be fine if it wasn't Bama or Georgia, either.

Gotta stir the pot occasionally so the ingredients don't get stale.

A&M & Missouri were both Big 12 teams when they came in because the jump was immediate, but Texas is not a Big 12 team.

Sark has been building his roster for 2+ years to get ready for the move.

We always seem to recruit good, but we have been able to land guys that we wouldn't have landed in the Big 12. The SEC is a big reason we were able to do so.. I'm sure NIL helped in some cases, but Texas doesn't seem to be overpaying for any recruits. Once they are on campus? Sure.. we are probably paying those guys quite well to stay, but that is different imo.

Anthony Hill
Collin Simmons
Kelvin Banks
Cam Williams
Arch Manning
Ryan Wingo

We don't land any of those guys without the SEC imo.

The list may be longer, but those are front line, big name guys.

Either way, this is the deepest roster I can ever remember. Sark has said that there isn't really a difference between the 1's and 2's in our 2 deep. That might sound like coach speak, but all of those guys play a lot, and there isn't a drop off in play, regardless of who is out there.

Now maybe that changes once we face some real competition.. someone who can punch us in the mouth. When that happens, we will see how we respond. Until then, it's hard to say how good we are.

I think we are better than last year, and we were damn close to winning it all last year. We are definitely deeper this year.. but we definitely are not a Big 12 team anymore.. I don't think we were last year either.

Those dudes in 1928 were really damn good though.. you should have seen them when they got off the bus. They had at least 10 guys that were at least 180 lbs.. maybe even 190 lbs.. we had no chance.

I don't care what they think or their feelings, Texas came to win the conference and right now nobody is really putting up much of a fight.

Must've been a hell of a train ride home from Dallas after taking down Texas.

Well, they got as cupcake a schedule as possible. And, it would help the brand more than it hurts. So, no.

i dont think this is the real question. the real question is, how fast will you piss on yourself running here to jump on the "SEC aint shite" because UT won it in year 1?

however, i still feel you wont get that joy as i don't think they're winning it this year, though they are playing well to date and demolished a big10 school.

and a follow up question........how are you going to live with yourself when Oregon wins the big?

You do realize you got one of the easiest SEC schedules, right? This was done because your W-L record was real sucky the past 10 years.

You're about to get a sure enough game this Saturday, loudmouth. lol

Always the same excuse, you thought OU was beating Texas too.

We can smoke Michigan at the big house, completely destroy OU, and beat Georgia and the excuses will always be the same. Give us credit, Sooner.

Quit making excuses. How is it an easy schedule with Georgia and Texas A&M?

I bet it sucks for the PAC-12 to win the BIG10? Especially in the year of OSU having "the best team money can buy."

Nah. Not a big deal. They got a rebuild by someone from the Saban rehab program. They were SEC ready.

I'd say they are ready. They may have won the SEC last season if they had made the jump 1 year earlier.
