What gave it away? Maybe when I offered to make a million dollar bet with a stranger on the internet?

A&M Fan

Yep, that’s not surprising at all. A&M fan runs his mouth about wagers and then flat out admits he had no intention of honoring his words. This is a lesson any man who grew up in the old conference footprint would have understood in elementary school. Christ, how did we let these pussies into the SEC?

Scoreboard, chump.

Maybe your team will be "motivated" next year or whatever the prevailing BS bammer excuse was this time.

Scoreboard

Just checked it on ESPN app. It says the A&M Aggies once again got scared and forfeited their upcoming game. Also says Alabama is scheduled to play in the four team playoff. Not sure what else I should be looking for?

Prove it. Show me where it says forfeit.

I can show you where it says A&M drug Saban at Kyle Field.

If Saban couldn't even beat Jimbo this year, with Calzada

Shiny hook but whatever

Not sure if you've noticed, but those are the circumstances in which his teams tend to slip up the most.

It's cute, but the class Fisher just signed was virtually matched at every point of need by Saban and still trails in avg talent. And, a better class has had a year in his system.

Aggie has to figure our how to translate potential into production, and it only gets more difficult with managing egos of the Uber talented.

Good luck!

This was what Saban's Bama considered a rebuilding year, reloading to them, and they are in the playoffs after a lack luster year to them. Damn.

aggie has never pee'd a drop in their history and expect a dude who is married to calling his own plays that nets him an average of four losses a year? And you expect to be relevant?

There are other teams than Bama to be worried about, but keep hanging your hat on one game like you did with texas in the old days.

This should be fun to watch.

Yes, it’s such a difficult situation to have all the best players and to just out talent everyone each weekend. Poor Nick Saban. What a burden placed on his shoulders. If only he has a few 3*s who tried real hard and we’re good teammates.

Talent brings entitlement and kids not willing to wait in an era of transfers. It takes a high degree of emotional intelligence to manage it and build a team.

Never been bedfellows, just kept our mouth shut because we were getting our arse kicked. But that shite has ended.

No prediction for next year in Tuscaloosa, been there and seen the home cooking.

One thing you can be sure of in the next few years. We are going to see how good Saban is going against a team that has surely equal talent and probably more.

I'll let UGA answer, or maybe a handful of LSU or other CFP regulars answer. It's win some, lose some, but it hasn't been bad on the whole

I’m sure it does. I’m sure Cincy would trade rosters in a heartbeat too. Have all world players with egos vs a few decent guys who want it more? Good one. Saban gets credit because recruiting is part of the game but even the playing field and things change real fast.

Unsurprisingly, you're missing the point. Saban gets top tier class after top tier class and still manages the egos on the roster. It is a short term gain if you can't manage that.
