Yes and move Auburn and Alabama to the East and move Mizzou and Oklahoma into the west. That will Even things up nicely. Geographically it makes sense and I also would like to see little Nicky cry like a bitch about moving.

typical LSU fan nothing to add to the conversation,, decides to be an a-hole anyway

In an ideal world, the SEC should add Oklahoma to the West and Clemson to the East

You really are ignorant to the drivers of conference expansion, aren’t you? If either of those schools were added, they would decrease the payments to existing members.

OU isn’t going anywhere because there aren’t enough TVs in the state of Oklahoma to matter. This is why the PAC declined to invite them and OSU in 2011. Those two schools will only move anywhere by hitching their wagons to tu. And tu has no desire to change things with their current arrangement with ESPN.

Oklahoma has an attractive package for merit scholars. That's why they have so many.

'No, too weak academically.' Hardly...

gpa avg of freshman admit is 3.6
Act avg is 26

UGA by comparison is a 4.1 and a 30.

MSU by comparison is a 3.4 and a 26.

We don’t need another MSU dragging down the conference.

OU is a garbage school. Texas wants to control everything, but the school isn’t terrible - I respect their grads. Let them both rot in what is left of the P12 and BDF

This is a bit of a misnomer. OU has tons of alumni living in DFW. So does Texas for that matter. So does A&M.

But, per capita by graduates, DFW has more OU alums than probably TX or A&M. Where am I going with this?

With OU (and/or Texas) in the SEC, you would have a ton more television viewers. Not only that, OU brings viewers from around the country. Our games always get good ratings.

The addition of A&M by no means captures all of the eyes in Texas.

One thing I've noted over the years is how the SEC only brings in schools that have a historic alliance with the south, and with the confederacy.

Even with the last 2 additions - Mizzou and A&M - both come from confederate alliances.

And so does OU. While it was Indian Territory during the Civil War, it sided with the confederacy and even had Confederate Generals. Westward migration brought a lot of people from Georgia, Miss, and Tennessee to both Texas and Oklahoma.

Texas and Oklahoma are by and large, southern in heritage and belief systems. We eat collards and fatback, catfish, and drink muscadine wine.

The only thing we don't have is the SEC doo. The full head of hair swished over to one side. But we're open to it.

SEC already owns the state of Texas - OU has nothing of value to add. All the Texas and OU fans already watch the SEC games, especially the ones they think A&M will get creamed

So, you wouldn't want to see EVERY conference set up identically so we can officially say who is better than whom?

There are so many variables now that it's just anybody's opinion.

Well, A&M and OU would have been profitable. Otherwise the SEC would not have invited them both back in 2010, which it did.

They should join the Mountain West. The competition would be tougher than what they currently face.

I just love that SEC fans are saying OU isn’t good enough academically. And I agree. It’s just funny.

Let them die at the table they chose.
