I like everyone else is glad he’s there just for pure entertainment purposes. However, I don’t expect him to have any real success. He isn’t known as a recruiter, also Washington State finished 6-7 this year in a an absurdly weak PAC 12.

What makes you think that?

Think he’ll be good for an occasional upset, but it’s going to be so dang tough in the toughest conference in the land.

He has to play Bama, LSU, Auburn, and A&M every single year. If he goes 1-3 in that stretch it’s considered a success. That means 9 wins at best. But I think that as long as they’re ahead of Ole Miss that’s all that really matters to them.

At State, Mullen lost one game he was favored in, but only won two that he wasn't favored.

Leach will win a few more he's not supposed to, but he'll lose some he's supposed to win. I expect seasons where he beats Auburn and loses to Arkansas or something.

He'll have access to far better talent. It's hard recruiting to Wazzu.

Yes but playing way tougher competition as well. Alabama, Auburn, LSU instead of Oregon State, Arizona and Stanford.

Never will have enough depth to win a Championship.

Will have the occasional upset.

He’s going to be a disaster but it will be fun to hear his quotes.

going 6-6 and 8-4 or 9-3 every few years will get him a statue here. Your success is measured differently than the Bama's and LSU's of the world. Beat the bid dogs every now and then to keep them honest and we are happy.

He won't do anything spectacular. He is what his record says it is, a 7-5 and 8-4 coach. But he will face a huge upgrade in talent and he needs all the pieces together for him to exceed expectations. He needs to do a better job recruiting or these games will be lopsided.

The best teams are strong in all areas not just a high powered offense. Leach needs to put a much bigger emphasis on defense in This conference or this will turn out ugly.

So you are saying he is the equivalent of Dan Mullen or better.

I guess it is according ti what tou would define success. I could see a couple of eight or nine win seasons but that is about it.

And arguably less access to talent than he had at Texas Tech.

So somewhere in between. He is what he is. 8-5 seasons and the occasional 10 wins or more.

TBD.

I'm just excited to see what the Air Raid will look like with 4-star players from the southeast.
