Still plenty of time left... Lots of offseason to prepare for him in his remaining years. SEC defenses will get ready.

What. The. frick.

Johnny routinely completes passes to 8-12 different receivers per game.

The Aggies utilize 3 different tailbacks during the course of the game.

Yet you feel we need to find more people to get the ball to.

At which point it will become a contest of talent and execution.

There's an idiotic presumption in all these kinds of statements, and that is that the Air Raid has some kind of inherent deficiency that makes it unworkable against an adequately prepared SEC defense.

The system will work like any other offense if the players on the roster are equivalent, talent-wise, to the players on defense. Period.

Johnny takes less of a beating than pocket passers like McCarron and Mettenburger, who stand in the pocket and absoultely drilled from time to time. He doesn't take the volume of hits that a QB running the zone read (like Tebow and Netwon) take from time to time. The guy is so elusive that he rarely takes a hard hit. I worry more about the stress on his knees from all the cutbacks than I do about hits.

Nah. Just, nah. You've played 3 good teams, and went 1-2. Your offense was something unknown at the time, and it allowed you to build leads until the defense corrected to it. This, while arguably having the most unpredictable guy in the nation at QB.

Next season, teams will have a better awareness of your offense, so don't expect that initial surge at the beginning of games. Also, I hope you don't seriously believe Manziel can continue to run around all over the place, without someone knocking him the frick out.

As for the Air Raid, it's inherent deficiency is reliance on the QB to do too much, and exposing him to potentially serious injuries.

I'll bet you this much- I don't know about Muschamp, but Miles and Saban will now devote some of their prep time specifically to stopping your offense. Saban was able to flip the Fla Tebow offense, I'm pretty sure he can flip yours too.

He'll probably beef up a little bit with age, kid's still young. He takes some hits but he'll be alright I think.

Often overlooked point. Likely he would blowout a knee before he took a major hit that would take him out for an extened period.

Oh, and if Johnny goes down, you're dead in the water. No insult or offense there, just fact. Your scheme isn't beating anyone, it's that hyper-puppy runs around making crazy plays out of his arse. You get a more disciplined guy back there, and you're then an average team.

We won't need it. Overlooked in all this talk about the offense is the maturation of the Aggie defense. This is a group playing with minimal depth and often left on the field longer due to the quick strike ability of the A&M offense and they've gotten BETTER from week to week. You realize Bama had not thrown an interception ALL SEASON until last weekend right? And that defense forced 3 turnovers, total, including the game winner on 4th down when Bama was supposed to have worn them down.

So save us this "unfamiliar offense gave us an initial lead so that's why y'all won" garbage. Our offense and defense stood toe to toe on the biggest stage thus far this year and prevailed. They will only get better next year.

Thanks, you're only the millionth person to predict this

If he learns to be a pass first QB he will be fine, maybe even better than Tebow

Tebow suffered a concussion and a broken arm playing in the sec. Johnny Football currently has an excellent oline, but if that changes he will suffer quite a bit of punishment. He doesn't have the durability of tebow.

If jff played behind Florida's oline, he would probably be in a coma by now. I'm surprised driskel lasted as long as he did, but he is a big, durable guy like tebow was.

I bet he quits the team because of the big bad SEC. He'll never improve.

A better question should have been; Will Drew Brees or Doug Flutie hold up because of their size?

I think your question has already been answered, hasn't it?

For the record, Addazio "flipped" our offense way before we played Bama

Every one of you on this board said he would not make it through this year without getting knocked out by Florida, LSU and Bama.

I think so. He is elusive and doesn't really take huge hits. If he tried to run like Tebow or Newton in the past, I would say no.....but he is pretty smart about getting to the sideline and avoiding huge hits.

I think he will hold up fine. I am curious though how much speed will he lose as he gains weight. If he slows down a bit, then might be a different story.
