Of course we'll suck. It's not like we are the only program in the state, it's not like we've had top recruiting classes the last 5 years, it's not like we have good fan support. Of course we'll suck.

Tennessee hung onto Phil too long. Same for Texas and Mack. That's what we're trying to avoid.

Running a successful coach out of town because he's not successful enough is a sure recipe for mediocrity. It won't end well for LSU.

LSU may already be pretty mediocre, trending real mediocre. 3rd SEC West 2013, 5th SEC West 2014, and if lose to A&M this weekend, they will finish 6th SEC West in 2015.
It is questionable if they improve much next year. Lots of the same questions from this year, LB, DL, OL, DE, QB, will still be around.

LSU has already sunk into mediocrity.
We don't think it's too much to ask to win the SEC West, SEC and beat the Gumpsters every few years is it?
By our standards, we've been mediocre since the "Debacle in the Dome."
