Two things gotta happen this year: 1. Beat Bama in Tiger Stadium and 2. Beat USC in Miami.

As long as we beat y'all I could live with that. Anything less would leave me very pissed however.

Yes, while I want a national championship, it's hard to look on a 13 win season as bad.

Yes, most difinitely.

However, you have a lot of "college aged kids" that are not very realistic yet in their lives....and would consider this a failure...which is sad, but expected from that age group.

Lets say LSU finishes 13-1 with a loss to Georgia in the SECCG. Then blows out some team in the sugar bowl.

This means LSU beat Bama again in the regular season. Will Bama play for the NC again?

Having gone to both games last year, I honestly cannot see why LSU thinks the talent level will be any better. Bama will not have the dominating D. Like last year. Offensively, we will be about same. Taking my Homer glasses off I see 2 loses this year for Bama.

LSU has new QB and quite honestly, another year has passed for D coordinators and O coordinators to work up schemes to beat you.

I see LSU with 1 to 2 losses as well.

I very realistically see a two loss west team taking on a one loss east team for the SECCG with a potential two loss SECC not getting into the game In Miami.

that would make all the SEC haters very happy. To all those SEC haters I say

most rantards think Les Miles can do no wrong. So, if he loses 2 games they will say that was the best anyone could have ever done.

Alabama's gonna be in a down year(which in likeliness still means double digit wins) and LSU isn't looking like there will be much dropoff. Ford, Ware, and Hilliard all return and the new QB should be additian via subtraction, not to mention Mett was the guy who gave Aaron Murray a run for his money before he got kicked out of school.

No, I will not be satisfied with anything less than a national title. Of course we all know expectations can change once the season starts. If the scenario in the OP is what happens, then no. I'd be pissed.

Is it just me, or is Les Miles in the same position at LSU that Eric Spoelstra was in with the Miami Heat before he won this year's Finals?

I'm not sure there is a scheme you can draw up when all we do is line up and run it right at you even though you put 8 men in the box and oh guess what, your defense gets so tired from the beating that they give up in the 4th. That's all we did last year and we won 13 games off it.

Oh and our fullback is a 280 pound converted defensive tackle. Have fun.

Was he the guy who Gentry tripped up on the 3rd down conversion attempt? If so, that guy is huge.
