Will LSU fans be pleased with anything short of a NC?

Lets say LSU finishes 13-1 with a loss to Georgia in the SECCG. Then blows out some team in the sugar bowl.

Will you be satisfied?

Yes, while I want a national championship, it's hard to look on a 13 win season as bad.

We'd most likely still be in the National Title game.

I'll be happy to see Zach throw the ball downfield and team play with focus every game. If this means 11 wins so be it. If 13 or 14, so be it.

As a UF fan who saw this in 09, hell no I wouldn't be satisfied.

If LSU has performed like a 12 win team all season and UGA has performed at the same level, no problem. Now if UGA comes in 9-3 and LSU is 12-0, well that's just going to suck big time. Winning whatever bowl they go to afterwards would be good, but it's still going to suck.

Would you be pleased with anything short of a wagon train rolling through your arse tonight?

I personally will be disappointed with anything less than a national championship. Realistic or unrealistic, thats just how I feel.

Half the fanbase will want to fire Miles and then blame it on JJ. The other half with be okay with a 13-1 season and a win in the Sugar.

No possible way they could be "pleased" with that, especially after they shite and then fell back in on 1-9 with football immortality hanging in the balance.

Is it just me, or is Les Miles in the same position at LSU that Eric Spoelstra was in with the Miami Heat before he won this year's Finals?

It's just you. After a few more arse kickings from him you'll understand better why.

No, in the upside down world of the NBA apparently players hire and fire coaches. Coaches Miles needs to continue putting out a team that performs like a top 5/top 10 team should. If he fails to do this a couple of years (see 2008/2009) the fire will be lit again. Hopefully that won't be repeated but I don't take anything for granted.
