Doesn’t matter when they became “aware” of it. That’s not how statute of limitations works. Police are aware many crimes took place, but if they don’t formerly charge the perpetrator with the crime within the statute of limitations, there is nothing they can do about it.
LSU has not been “charged” with any violations.

Lots of schools benefited when Tom Yeager and David swank left the infractions committee.
I believe then and now had they still had their dark hand involved in 2010 cam would have never finished that season and auburn would have been nailed losing 20 schollies. Swank was out of control and actually lost a defamation lawsuit Bama filed against him. In 1998 Bama basketball had a coach offer money. He was fired immediately and no money changed hands. The NCAA went on for 15 minutes about how bama handled itself was a model of what to do. Then promptly extended our probation window. They were some tough mfers. If they were still in charge I'd say LSU is fricked but this NCAA regime has been weak to be honest.
Nobody has taken the NCAA serious since those guys left and I think the NCAA knows they are considered a joke. Schools flat out thumb their noses at the committee now.

In the interest of facts...technically Cecil did something that wasn't against the rules. The NCAA then closed the loophole now making the same action a violation.
Also, after an exhaustive search there was only evidence the MSU booster approached Cecil with a PFP scheme and Cecil listened...is that the same thing that happened with the LSU family?
