Will Kirby Smart finally win a regular season game against Alabama?

Or will it take another same season 2nd attempt against a severely injured Bama for him to get his 3rd win against Bama.
He currently sits at 2-7 (snicker) against Alabama with both wins coming in 2nd games in the same season with Alabama severely injured at key positions like WR or QB.

I have been saying that Drinkwitz needs to beat at least one top 10 teams in order to keep his job at the end of the season. Georgia would be a good start.

Congratulations on your second place finish in the conference

I will take that as a no.
Can’t blame you.

The day that beating Georgia became Bama fans' biggest flex was the day that tDecline became official.
It's actually pretty fricking flattering if you're a Georgia fan. Ten years ago, I could've never imagined a day when Georgia would occupy so much space in the brains of Bama fans.

Jameson Williams played more snaps in the national title game than George Pickens, numbnuts. But then again Alabama is the only football team, pee wee through pro, that ever has players get hurt.

Gee, you're such a puss. I could argue that UGA had alot of injuries in that game as well. But the whole injury excuse is only for the weak.
Ironically, as I recently pointed on another thread, it was an old wise Bama poster that used to be on this forum that chastised a bunch of his fellow Bama posters whining about Metchie/Williams and he stated a true statement that cannot be overstated..."Championship teams have championship depth". He went on to say that UGA was the better team and only the weak and sore-losers whine about injuries when the other team was clearly the better team in getting the win.

Couple interesting points on the topic.
The last (and only) 3 times Kirby has face deboer/grubb the results have trended in the same direction each time.
-2024: we are helplessly whipped for about 60% of the game. Look like we forgot that defense exisists for the entire 1st half. Somehow come back before losing late
-2025: Bama scores multiple times in the first half but it's far more evenly matched from the get go. Bama actually doens't score a point the entire 2nd half in a narrow win. Offense is to blame for this loss, not defense.
-2025: Bama offense is non existent, and their one score of the game only comes as a result of a bone headed personal foul 15 yard penalty after a drive ended on a dude that was 30 yards away from the play.
As you can see, bama's offense went from white hot, to decent but just good enough, to invisible. Good trend for us, IMO.
Second intersting thing is that the two regular sesaon losses we have that are actually relevant (not sure what happened against saban during covid makes a hill of beans?) didn't actually alter our season one single smidgen.
-In 2024 despite the regular season loss, we still played in the SECCG against a non-bama team and won it, getting a 1st round playoff bye
-In 2025 despite the regular season loss, we still played in the SECCG and won it, getting a 1st round bye
On the flip side had bama lost those games their fate would have changed drastically in both seasons.
