Maybe one day but nobody gets one if Herschel doesn’t have one (and he doesn’t). Dooley has one but it’s on the outskirts of campus on the side of the road.

I heard the reason Walker doesn't have one on campus is because he didn't graduate from UGA. Seems pretty silly, but also makes a tiny bit of sense. Kirby graduated from UGA.

Saban’s statue needs to be redone who ever designed and made that one doesn’t look like the others . It looks cartoonist and his shoes make it weird and odd . Bears and Genes statues with the wing tips are point on .

Dooley got one because of his coaching and AD tenures. Given how 5 Points has developed, it’s actually in a pretty good spot.
Herschel won’t get one on campus because he didn’t graduate but there is a statue floating around Athens by the same guy who made Dooley’s
In general, UGA has very few statues of anyone - let alone former athletes - on campus

Not until he retires.
If it were up to me the only Georgia players to this point that should have statues would be Charlie Trippi, Frankie Sinkwich, Jake Scott, and Herschel Walker.

I don't mean this in a, "It's going to happen" sort of way, but I believe Kirby won't be happy until he has achieved "Name the stadium/field" after him status.
Only being 46 with this level of success tells me he has a strong shot at getting to that level if he keeps chopping wood.

I knew it was only a matter of time before Kirby checked the box with a Natty and you can find my post on the subject. He has alot of great years ahead for him and the Dawgs. The thing that is going to be interesting is how he handles this NIL crap and the Portal. Sure, every Coach is going to have to navigate this. But he gets a leg up on handling this issue, keeping players out of the Portal. Then, the sky is the limit. He could do Saban like things. Not saying he will but…

The Saban statue is still the gayiest of all while the other 4 coaches are the same design. The powers that be let Saban design the damn thing so he made his head and shoes disproportionally bigger...an ego maniac.
