From College Sports Only:

“Texas Attorney General & U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton defending Texas Tech has radicalized some Texans to the point they are willing to switch their vote in November.”

By Defending Texas Tech, is Paxton Shooting Himself in the Foot With Respect to his Senate Election Chances?

I’ve lived away from Texas for a long time now, so I’m curious to hear what y’all Texas voters think…

Look, as dumb as it was for him to do what he did, no one is going to vote for the other lunatic party over this. It’s Jun and by Nov this will be done and done. People have short memories and there are a thousand other more important topics to worry about. If they do then they are stupid.

He might only lose a few undecideds on the fence but it won’t change the outcome.

I had assumed that it was the years of public corruption and adultery that would do it, but whatever works.

I hate that corrupt POS paxton with the intensity of 1000 suns long before this tech fiasco.

but I'd never vote for the beta pussy running against him. I just won't vote or I'll vote Libertarian this time around. No way I vote for paxton.

It could. Paxton is lucky that his opponent is an asexual feminine dipshit that cannot seem to get out of his own way politically

For how many voters will this Texas Tech defense be the final straw? The great majority of voters in Texas are going to be alumni or fans of other colleges… That shite gets pretty personal… In other words, on the margins, will his Texas Tech defense potentially highlight Paxton as a backstabbing North Dakota carpetbagger to a critical number of November Texas voters, in a close election??

Talarico has a nice looking girlfriend though, with deep Texas roots. And I don’t know a whole lot of women (who vote) who are going to be charitable about Paxton’s alleged philandering…

Well, most of the votes against Paxton will come from the Austin/Travis County area

But that’s because Travis County supports transgender/mutilation of children

it will cause some, like me, to just not vote but it's not going to drive anyone to that feminine pansy on the other side.

Really tough to ever see myself voting for a Democrat. There are a few out there like Joe Manchin who are actually reasonable and have some conservative values, but I haven't seen anyone like that in Texas for a very long time.

This said, Paxton seems like an absolute scumbag and and if there were a reasonable alternative then he'd be the one that might push me over the edge.

But there isn't a reasonable alternative.

I'll say this as well, and it's what a lot of people don't understand: As a person I can't stand Trump; he's like the bully that just needs to be popped in the mouth. But I agree with 90% of his actual policies that affect the direction of the country, etc, which is why I've voted for him 3 times.

Paxton doesn't deserve to be a US Senator, but neither does the Dem, and I could never vote for that guy.
