The guy did great the beginning of the season. Then towards the end he faded fast. Winning that Trophy is overrated to be sure, but we all hear how important consistency is for the season. I truly believe ( and I know I will hear homer) Fornette is the best talent in CFB this season, but because of his injuries he wasn't able to prove it.
I think Leonard and his teammates want to prove to the nation who really should and had he been without nagging injuries and Les Miles would have won that prestigious award.
I think we are going to see the kid from New Orleans put on a show New Year's eve in Florida.

I got a better choice ....Hurts.
Better wins against competition, that he had a direct influence on the outcome of most of those games. Particularly the BIG ones.

You do know that Fournette isn't playing in the Citrus Bowl, right?

I read the title like a player named Will Jackson won a heisman after a Citrus Bowl performance

Drunk and retarded is a step up from about every UF fan I have ever met over almost 50 yrs

I think LSU will skull drag Louisville with or without Fournette, they have plenty of talent. Don't forget that they lost to a shitty Kentucky team

I see what you are saying but no. It's not popular in the Bama fanbase to say anything negative about Jalen but Kiffin worked wonders with the kid covering up obvious flaws. If he learns to throw the ball downfield especially deep then he will be invited to New York before he leaves imo. Sky is the limit for the kid.

Looks like it. Guice has just as good of a chance at the Heisman as Fournette did. They're both incredible players. It just sucks that we have to play Bama and their brick wall every year

I actually think Jackson is going to play very well with a month off to heal. He takes a lot of hits in that offense and some time off will do him well

For some reason LSU plays EXTREMELY well against running qbs. That's why we did so well against Bama and why we have beaten A6M six years in a row. Just something about the way our defense is set up we can contain running quarterbacks. Lamar Jackson will be the best we faced since Johnny Manziel though.

Still beat Johnny.

Jackson will complete a few passes...in fact he will do a lot more damage thru the air than on the ground.
But you're right our D contains running Qbs better than most teams.
That said, it will help Louisville Complete passes.
Despite what was said earlier in the month, Fornette will play. His injury is not that serious and it's his call. Anyone think he won't wanna be on that field against Jackson?
A bigger concern is Beckwith(who won't play) but Don Alexander who got killed against Fla at the MLB position, should be much more effective in this one because his lack of size is not as critical here and his speed at the position is a huge plus.
On top.of all that, White a future all American at the position will be coming in off the bench thru the game as he did against TAMU when his presence shut them down when they ran up the gut.

I think that I've heard this exact same thing sometime in the past. Last year, maybe?
