I'm sure some will but Saban didn't finish with a 5-6 season and Jimbo didn't go to another team in the same division that was already hated by fans. He's more comparable to Urban Meyer than he is Saban.

best friend of mine is an FSU fella and he seems relieved honestly. Mad at FSU and Jimbo it seems, depending which way the wind is blowing.

Well they aren't in the same division of the same conference and don't play often so probably not.

Nah, but it makes us hate our administration and AD even more. What hurts the most is Scott Woodward is an LSU guy. We simply lack vision/commitment to excellence in the AD and administration right now. Alleva scoffed at paying Jimbo 6.5 million for 10 years. No vision.

Well other programs are and will pass LSU up. LSU is now decidedly the 4th best coached team at best in their own division.

I never wanted Jimbo. He's not a sure fire guarantee and paying him 70 million is a gamble I'm glad we didn't take.
