Will Brian Kelly jump to the NFL if he does not win the national title.

And if so, how long will it take? He left Notre Dame for that same reason. I do not imagine LSU is no better than the Irish.

I do not think based on the vibe Coach Kelly gives out that he sees NFL as something he strives to do in anyway. Seems like from what he has said in regards to the move to LSU that college is his thing and he was ready for a change in the college ranks. Seems like he has a path of his life scripted in his mind. If he is successful at LSU this will be his last football full time job.
Could see him possibly doing the AD thing. He is well respected. I could also see him doing analysis for tv. He is very well spoken.

Each of the last three LSU coaches before Kelly have won NCs. I don’t even know how many consecutive ND coaches haven’t won NCs, but I know it’s every one since Lou Holtz.

Notre Dame hasn't won a major bowl game in 30 years.
This is often presented as a Brian Kelly problem but the guys before him weren't doing it, the guy after him hasn't done it either.

I could see Kelly being an AD. Do you see him doing so at LSU?

That has been Kelly's biggest issue, successful regular seasons followed by post-season losses. Last season was more of the same, Excellent season but lost in a major upset and a beatdown in Atlant. But as you said, earlier coaches at ND had similar results.
LSU will give him a great chance to prove his critics wrong.

No idea. Feel like Mulkey may legit in line for that already after Scott.
I could see him going back to ND for that possibly?

Historically ND is a bigger brand than LSU. That is not an insult just a fact. So LSU is no better than ND. No harm meant.

A female AD could have its advantages in our modern world. She would have to understand football comes first.
It would be hard to see Kelly as ND AD after he left them but time heals all wounds or so they say.

Historically the Roman Empire was the preeminent global super power. Historically Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and the NAZIs ruled over most of Europe. Historically you’re great grandparents were alive to see Army win a national title in football. Historically.
