Yes of course. Every player that Bama has is the best to ever play the game. They will only be topped by next years' recruits who will then be the best ever.

Remind me, how did OM's receivers do against you? Oh NM, that wouldn't fit your argument.
What does that have to do with it?
Earlier in the thread names secondary was getting dogged, now they're the measuring stick?
OM is the only team with comparable talent to Alabama at WR, and they aren't quite there

Mizzou. Haters gonna hate this, but it's true. If only we have someone to throw the ball and play 0-line.
DGB, Washington, Hunt, Lucas, Sasser, White (TX transfer).
Fastest white guy in college sports, Levi Copelin.

That all sounds great...until you realize Alabama was tenth in the SEC in passing offense
Have you ever thought that might have something to do with the fact that Bama usually had a huge lead at halftime and rarely if ever threw a pass in the second half against anyone other than LSU, TAMU, and Georgia?

Bell was a starter all year and he only had 17 receptions??? Very impressive.
Would you rather have a starter that had 40 catches with a 17 yard avg or a starter that had a 25 yard avg with only 17 catches?
White had all of eight catches on the season.
Fact is LSU WRs return more receptions for '13 than bama does and tigers played a 12 game schedule to bama's 13 games.
Tigers incoming WRs and TEs are just as highly touted as bama's.

bama - norwood, cooper and bell - 96 receptions
LSU - Landry, OBJ and Boone - 116 receptions
norwood and cooper had the luxury of the SECCG to add to their totals. Bell was injured but he did play the whole regular season.

We also lost DeAndrew White. We also had the lead in almost every second half.

Bama has talent for sure, especially Cooper, but to say only Ole Miss has comparable talent is ignorant. UGA, for one, will have Mitchell, Bennett, Conley, Rumph, and Wooten. You could debate which group is better, but they are certainly comparable.
Texas A&M and LSU have good groups too.

Agreed. LSU below the rest IMO

LSU's top four WRs had more receptions in '12 than bama's top four WRs and the tide had an extra game.
Mett had more completions in '12 than mccarron had and mccarron played in 13 games.

Do you even know who our receiveing core is and how highly touted they were coming out of high school? Moncreif and Sanders were both 4 stars. Treadwell is the #1 WR recruit this year according to at least 1 recruiting site. Moore and Logan are 3 stars but Logan has more experience that just about any WR you have.
