Arkansas have anything to be proud of in football since they joined the SEC?

We went from the worst football facilities in the conference in 1992 to some of the best.

We're averaging a trip to Atlanta once every six years, and have won or tied the West 4 times.

We're 7th in overall wins since joining.

We're headed to our 12th bowl in 18 years.

None of that is overly impressive but it's better than half the conference.

So, will win win the SEC? We've had 3 shots with some fairly mediocre coaching and failed. We will go to Atlanta again, rest assured. Will we win it next time? Who knows?

LSU fans have to obsess over Arkansas, Ole Miss, Bama, someone, anyone to take their minds off the fact that Miles leading them to nowhereville fast. They realize they'll never back into another NCG again with 2 loses and with Miles they'll always have at least two.

When Broyles stepped down as AD, Arky's stock went up. However, as long as he continues to visit the hill on a regular basis, the program will have a weight tied around the waist. Broyles did a lot to bring UA athletics up to having great facilities, but he never wanted anyone to have a better program than he did in the day. Now that he slowly becoming a minor figure in the program, the future is brighter. If Arky wants to succeed, they will have to recruit heavily way out of state.

Arkansas should seriously consider joining the Big 12 when they realign again. The future looks terrible for Arkansas in the SEC. Seriously, Arkansas would have numerous conference championships by now if they played in the Big 12.

I don't see Arkansas winning anytime soon. However, ten or more years from now will bring a different set of circumstances. In 1999 no one could have forseen what LSU would become from 2000-2007.

I hope South Carolina does before any of those who haven't does.

I can dream. Though with all the young talent if we can't do it within the next 3-4 years we'll never do it.

Not flaming the Cocks, but when a Hog fan around here starts talking about them winning the SEC, I tell them I think South Carolina will win it in a few years. They laugh and say they got to get by Florida, Bama or Georgia. Then I say so does Arky. Kinda proves a point.

We were one Clint stoerner fumble away from playing for a spot in the sec championship game and then maybe going to the national championship game. I think it is possible but with bama peaking right now it will take some luck as well

Alabama is hardly peaking. We're only into year three of the Saban era. He's yet to field a team full of his recruits. Now isn't that something scary to think about?

They could do it by Nick Saban's mind control alone. They haven't won it but Nick has not willed it yet.
