re: I believe football is dying.

It is certainly declining. This topic was discussed at work recently. Growing up the HS team I played for yielded 80 to 90 players every year throughout the 80's today they have 60 players in a good year. The interest is just not there like it used to be. Kids have more options in front of them to choose from and a great many of hem feel it takes too much time and effort to play the sport. Idiot parents have ruined the youth programs here. They have to hire off duty policemen to be present at the youth basketball games because of the parents.

There is one local girl here that is a really good looking 24 or 25 y/o that has 4 sugar daddy's. She told this to a friend of mine. Makes several thousand a month cash doing so. Still goes out on weekends and parties, and gets plowed by young guys as well.

If this is indeed her, this isn't her first time doing this, that's the word around the campfire.

My favorite part of Razorback history is the 1901 Arkansas 'Cardinals' had back to back loses to High School Teams.

At least you get to vote the bastards in over there in Bama. In backwoods Arkansas, the Governor appoints our PSC Commissionors. The two times I have had dealings with them, they put the interest of companies first, not the public.

Yep. Bought a business a few years back. Offered to let folks keep jobs and benefits with concessions. They were unionized and refused of course. Brought back a counter offer at which time I informed them that we weren't negotiating and shut the mf'er down. "Reorganized" and reopened later. I loved seeing the looks on their faces when they showed up to a locked up fricking building. I didn't want the original business anyway. Just the building and location, but was willing to try and make things work if they'd play ball. fricking retards.

Really? What business did you buy?

As much influence as I have locally, it doesn't mean jack shite in the grand scheme of things

:rotflmao: Really?
As snake bit as the Arky football program is, I am convinced this woman will bring down the program Jessica Dorrell style just as they are starting to field good teams once again.

Hallman's win against BAMA won him an additional year at LSU. That alone makes this win bitter...

And that in itself provoked a lot of suicidle thoughts.

HOLY shite, WHO the frick are you?!?!???

Just a fly on the wall or a ghost in the closet  Have a ton of memories growing up there. Graduated in '88 and after college left and never looked back, ended up in El Dorado. I go back every now and again to visit, can't believe how much the area has regressed and ironically progressed. What year did you graduate?

thanks tax payers!

Les makes $300,000 Being on LSU staff, TAF makes up the ballance. Pretty sure this is the norm at most D-1 schools.

Knocking that fricks #1 team off was so awesome.

This times a million.

After a few loops down Main St., around the Sonic, then back to the grocery store parking lot, rounding up friends, we'd hit the back roads to someone's deer camp, or dead end road, where someone ALWAYS had a couple of kegs.

When I visit my hometown, now, there are zero kids out & about. Then I remember internet, email, texting, etc. It's kinda sad to me. I definitely believe we had more fun growing up.

I am certain you and I grew up in the same smelly one horse town, although I believe I am a couple of years older than you. Ah the memories of gravel road, going to the bootleggers, summers on the river and sitting on the parking lots on weekends. How many trips did you make to Willie's?

Lol, ME TOO!!! I was raised Baptist from an infant, then thank goodness my family left & joined the Presbyterian church when I was a teenager. Just could not stomach the hypocrisy anymore, nor the minister's hypocrisy when it became public knowledge that he had been having an affair with the secretary of our county's Southern Baptist Association for years, all the while judging others.

Did this minister have a daughter that graduated from CHS in '89?
I have been a Electrician for 29 years and can't count how many of those cheap recepticles and light switches I have replaced. Go to a electrical supply house or at worst Lowe's or Home Depot and pony up the cash for a good one. Also as someone before posted, turn off the breaker feeding it and test the circuit to ensure it's dead.

Lowe was expected.

I am relly surprised he made it this long.

:rotflmao:
You don't think little 'ol Arky hasn't had some seriously corrupt leaders in it's past?
