The series is tied up 9-9 since LSU invented football in September 2000. In those years the upstart Alabama program has struggled mightily against the entrenched powerhouse LSU program and somehow managed a few wins of late to tie the series up. Is this finally the year that the fledgling Alabama program gets the advantage? If not, since 21st Century LSUDaddy has given 21st Century Bamabuddy so many chances, including an extra pity game in the same season, should LSU drop them from the schedule and play a more competitive Troy team?

Down vote from your spot on the sidewalk if you think LSU wins big and Tiny Screamy Nick strokes out on the sideline.

Technically, there was no year 0, so centuries start with year 1 and end with year 100. Thus, Alabama is 9-8 against LSU this century. But, by all means, please carry on.

Yes, we are very thankful to Saban for letting Coach Fran and Bama beat him by a 31-0 count.

That was a truly wonderful experience.

Does anyone recall what cow college Coach Fran left Bama for? Have they beaten LSU since football was invented in September 2000?

I hope so. Just glad neither of the two guys who did all the winning in this series during that period will be on the sidelines Saturday.

Ah, shite, nevermind

One thing is for sure though, win or lose, LSU will still have a winning record against Bama in Bryant-Denny Stadium this century.

True enough, but that 2001 game was fun enough to count for 2 years worth
