I think last year i read that alabama hasn't been the underdog in vegas for about 60 games or something. will there be a team more impressive than bama this season going into the game? i'm sure bama will be at least a 10 point favorite going into our game.

Yep. Alabama's been the favorite in every game after 2009 Florida. Even vs. Cam Newton and the 2 LSU teams.

Maybe Auburn depending upon how each team fares going in. I doubt LSU would be favored or even toss up regardless of each team's record going in with the game at BDS.

@UGA and @AU are the only possibilities I see honestly. I think @UGA is most realistic simply because it's early in the season on the road and we may not know what to expect from bama's QB yet (same can be said for us, obviously).

UGA won't be favored. Vegas isn't as delusional as the average UGA fan. Not to say I don't think UGA has a good shot, because they do.

of course, but i don't see that really happening. there are so many unknowns this year. hell, arkansas has a damn good shot at winning the west this year.

I'd go the opposite. I think the odds are more likely that we're favored than they are that we win.

Most of our fans predict us go to 8-4/9-3 this year...you call that delusional? Vegas has favored us quite a bit in the richt era, it's not unfathomable that we could be favored in a big game at home, espeically if we're undefeated which we likely will be.

Probably not .... well, at least not until they get to Atlanta to face the Gamecocks and Spurrier.

Agreed, if Auburn and Alabama have similar records, I could see Auburn being favored at home in that game.

I mean you'll just be wrong. I don't really have a response for you, haha.

And I guess we know different UGA fans, that's fair.

They're probably going to be similar to Georgia & have 3/4 losses after the bowl game.

As long as saban is their coach, I will never under any circumstances predict them to lose more than 2 games in a season. And damn sure not in June.

Wisconsin is the 69th game Bama has been the favorite.

I don't see them being the underdog this season unless UGA blows em out and Auburn is undefeated, or obviously if they lose more than one before facing Auburn (with 1 loss or less)

Obviously I think it's a week to week thing. I think Alabama has a lot of games they can lose this year: Wisconsin, UG, Arkansas, LSU, & Auburn I just don't think they're going to have it this year. Sims was a gift & it doesn't seem Coker's got it. I hope I'm wrong, but it's how I feel. They're probably going to be similar to Georgia & have 3/4 losses after the bowl game.
How'd you feel about Bama this same time last year? New OC (Kiffin) - Blake Sims as QB - losing CJ Mosley & Eddie Lacy?????
