That game was the beginning of the end for Richt at Georgia. There was a camera shot late in the 3rd quarter when UCF had the ball and they showed the Georgia offense on the sidelines. Players were sitting on their helmets staring at the ground and Richt was not even around talking them up.

I'm a Sooner fan/grad, so obviously I'm not fond of texas...I hope they get boat-raced by 70 pts.
So, a question. If texas somehow does win the sugar bowl (won't happen) will you SEC fan boys start claiming "Georgia didn't care?"

Nah, if we lose we lose. No excuses if we get beat. I never understood that “ we didn’t play well because of importance mantra”. It’s the Sugar Bowl as a top 5 team. I get that it’s not where we wanted to be but we still want to win the game. It’s important

Texas is inferior to UGA at every single position on the field, including WR where they think they have some kind of advantage. If UGA shows up, it will be nasty. The score won't reflect it so much, but UGA will have more than 300 yards rushing and own TOP by a factor of 2:1 or better

Anyways Georgia is a match up nightmare for texas. Been saying it since it was announced. If we keep it within 17 ill be happy. But if we win i dont wanna hear the excuse of Georgia didnt want to be there bullshite
